I remember reading this manga as a very young kid. It’s because I was super obsessed with alchemy and since Homunculi are concepts which stem from alchemy, I thought it’d be a cool story about alchemists in the modern world… I was not prepared for what I’d see.

It reminds me of the Stranger by Camus, in that the story is led by a super unreliable narrator who is trying to convince you they are a normal person despite their actions being despicable

I'm honestly not interesting in the new Code Geass at all. I think it should have ended with Lelouch's death at Rebellion and all this other spinoff and what if material feels kind of cheap. I watched the movie series and I thought the ending was way too fan fic-y for my liking, which I believe the new series is based on?

I remember reading this one wen I was in high school. Thought it was just a trip throughout. Weird as manga. Probably formed my earliest opinions on transgender identity and gender dysphoria as a cis guy which is probaky not the best source of information but hey.
