do you have the complete kit low beam, high beam, daylight and fog light kit for 2013 Honda Accord ?

So I did this same setup but I have a headlight blown, do I just need a bulb or the whole bulb and wire again
@dfuma2133 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure if you’ll get back to me but on my 213 Honda Accord Lx I installed some leds and noticed something odd. When it’s day time and lights are set to Auto, the high beams stay on but they are very dim and flicker They work perfectly fine at night time though.

If I go for a complete LED headlight assembly, will there be a conversion needed for that? Or would that be a better conversation for the manufacturer?

I am sure you would have to swap some of your wiring if upgrading the entire housing to an aftermarket housing.

Just purchased your products for this Accord 2017 .... Wichita way should the LED chip be ... Facing down or up inside the projector housing ... For maximum light output on the headlights ... Thanks in advance

The bulb should only be able to be installed in a single direction. It does not necessarially matter which direction the LED board is facing in a projector housing.

I have a 2014 honda accord ex-l sedan, I wasn't sure if I could just "plug and play" these led's into the excisting housing or would I still have to get a specific led housing before installing these lights. Any help would be great, thanks!

Yes, our LEDs are designed to be plug-and-play, so all you would need to do is follow the instructions in the installation video above!

I have hids now, been thinking about going led, how is it? Still have a cut off line? Any hot spots like the hid? Or is it more full with the led? Is it more dense with the led? And better (left) to (right) coverage? How much more clear and dense is the led over hid?
@PrecisionLED7 жыл бұрын
HIDs are indeed considered a thing of the past. LED headlights are a much newer technology. Yes, the headlight cutoff line actually has to do with having a projector vs reflector headlamp housing, rather than HID/LED. The LEDs installed properly into your headlight housing would project exactly as your halogens do. However, they will just be much brighter (2-3x), which a nice, sleek, LED look to them. You can read more about the differences here: www.caradvice.com.au/278125/headlights-explained-halogen-v-hid-v-led-v-laser/

PrecisionLED sorry, forgot to mention, I have a 2017 Accord Sedan also. But mine is the Lx😞. I was thinking about changing my projector lens to the 4g TL. But the accord already has a cut off, being we have halogen projectors. Only down side is, it’s not a true HID projector. And our h11 bulb is a 360 degree when the filament is lit. And I always assumed LED wasn’t a better coverage due to most of the LEDS on the market have them on two sides, not projecting a 360 degree angle like a regular h11 halogen bulb. Does that seem to make sense to you? Lol or am I looking at it wrong? Then there are TRuE led projectors. Like the LED kioto projectors from the Corolla.
@Jdmlsturbo7 жыл бұрын
PrecisionLED sorry forgot to add, most the LEd I find on the market with 4 sided LEDs are always going to be a high/low function.
@PrecisionLED7 жыл бұрын
I believe what you are referring to as a "LED projector" would just be a projector housing, which your vehicle already has. There is some controversy when installing LEDs/HIDs on a reflector housing because of glare to oncoming drivers. In which case, people prefer to change their housings to a projector housing (LED housing), to ensure there is a solid cutoff line, and no glare to oncoming drivers. However, your vehicle already comes with this housing, so all you would need is the LED system (bulbs and ballasts). Your vehicle already has a solid cutoff line to prevent glare to oncoming drivers.
@Jdmlsturbo7 жыл бұрын
PrecisionLED no, I’m talking about adding a h11 led bulb with driver. Led projectors will have a triangle shape csp led chip, beamed to a reflector and through a LED Projector. So far I have seen a ton of people on forums add a h11 led headlight kit, but no one ever really goes into how it performs with a factory (non-hid)halogen projector like light penetration, depth, density, beam angle, hot spots light bleeds. So if I end up not switching my hid out for a led headlight kit, I’ll most likely do a retro-quick lens swap to a 4g TL or sc430.. If I have deeper pockets I’ll do a true retrofitting to Bi-LED projector housing. Unless of mayb switching to a led headlight kit and changing just the halogen projector lens to a true led projector Lens makes a huge difference. But first things first, I’m gonna do the LED DRL strip on my 2017 sedan LX headlights first. Lol

Would this be brighter than an hid 35W at 5000k? Is it plug and play without the accord led wire hardness that is not included for lx, sports, and ex trims?
@PrecisionLED8 жыл бұрын
Both LEDs and HIDs vary via the quality of products. We believe we have some of the highest quality products on the market today, which we back with a warranty. Also, yes, our headlight LEDs are simple plug-and-play, as you can see in the installation video. Also, no, a wiring harness is not required for LED installations.

Could you give a quick comparison/benefit to the LED light vs. the original? Aside from the brightness, what about the life of it? My stock lights on my '13 Accord lasted 98K and 102K miles respectively. Thanks

Damn you already have 102k on 2013..I'm looking at getting a 2013 or 2014 but heard some of the 2013s have problems..If you dont mind me asking have you had any issues with your car? Thanks.
@nesone65207 жыл бұрын
The issues that I have had, are a seized auto tensioner assembly (for the alternator belt), which cost me about $110 (installed it myself), and the alternator pulley went bad at 162K, which could have been caused from the auto tensioner going bad. Those are the only major issues and I am now at 176K miles. I also have had the occasional screeching audio from the sound system, but I never took it back to do the software update, I simply turn the car off and on again.
@PrecisionLED7 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your interest. The main benefit of the LEDs would indeed that the brightness inside of your vehicle would be increased 2-3x. However, it would also give your vehicle a nice, sleek look. I would expect the LEDs to last just as long, if not longer than your halogen bulbs. However, the lifespan can vary depending on things that are out of our control (i.e. battery efficiency). We do back all of our products with a 1 year warranty.

Is that power driver required to get the lights to turn on? I went through a couple of h11 led low beam bulbs that does not have a power driver but none will turn on when plugged in. And I don't know why.
@PrecisionLED7 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your interest. It is possible to install LEDs without the ballast. However, these tend to be a much less powerful bulb, and will not produce much light output. When installing our CREE LED kits, the ballast is required, as the LED is very, very powerful, and will increase your nighttime driving by 2-3x.

@@PrecisionLED I am currently using HIDs in my car. Hylux 45w ballast with XenonDepot’s “Philips XV2”. I qouted that bc im not sire if they are legit authentic Philips XV2’s, it does seem to provide decent width and good throw outwards compared to the halogens. I noticed that these LEDs you’ve installed, the LED faces upwards when installed. As opposed to all others having 2 LEDs on both sides but once installed, the LED points at 3 and 9’o’clock. There is an article where it showed a similar LED bulb in a projector housing that illuminates 180 degrees just one side as yours does, and it was night and day difference. Here it is that article, www.led-car-light-manufacturer.com/select-led-projector-headlight-bulb/ Thats why I was curious if you guys can do a short video demonstrating your LED bulbs at night to show how effective it is. Willing to pull the trigger if it will be on par if not better than HID. Additionally, what is the chip set thats being used on the LED bulbs? I currently have PIAA Hyper Arros LED in 4000K temp in my fogs. It uses the Luxeon Z ES chip set. I like the color temp, it looks like halogens on steroids, but still provides a better output compared to halogens. I like them as it looks factory and not blueish like 99% of all LEDs on the market. Easier on the eyes. Any chance you guys might manufacture a similar 4000K H11 bulb set the same as PIAA’s Hyper Arros 4000K ? Many thanks!

@PrecisionLED8 жыл бұрын
There are many factors and many upgrades to headlight housings over the years that help mitigate any glare to oncoming drivers. It is more or less the color of the light which causes distraction and not the actual brightness intensity itself. If you notice, the most distracting lights to see on the road are the blue HID lights which cause a lot of glare for the human eye, whereas you probably never noticed the 6000K or 8000K lights on the road because they are more natural to the human eye.
