Honda Accord Mk7 For awhile I've been having issues with the clutch pedal sinking and sticking. A fluid flush and bleed didn't cure the issue so the next step was to replace the Clutch Master Cylinder.

Nice video! My client's own had a similar issue so I bleed the clutch and still to no avail. I've even replaced only the kit inside the upper clutch but the problem of a sponge clutch and no gear still persist. I've checked scrutingly for signs of leakage carefully while someone and found out that the down clutch nipple doesn't hold clutch hydraulic fluid! It goes out gently, and also the clutch fluid was replaced with a new one. Nevertheless, it's still very darkened in color. Please, how do I fix the issues? Darkened fluid, soft clutch pedal, and a most especially the leak at the down clutch bleeder or nipple.

I was finding my gears were more and more difficult to change over a few days, I checked the fluid and it was a little low, so I thought I would go get some more DOT4. Then today my pedal completely dropped down and wouldn't return. I waited a few hours on a busy roundabout entrance for recovery, plenty of nice people asked if I needed help and offered me hot drinks. The recovery was going to take another hour..so I sat in the car. I thought I wonder if I tuck my toe under the clutch pedal... and it lifted and pressing it back I got pressure back - so went home (in first gear). Now I am wondering if its just the master or the slave as well. It doesn't look too difficult to do from your video, master looks easier than if it was on the American side (That looks worse to get to!) Thanks for the video explaining it.

@@hoodedreeper How are you meant to get to that top left bolt on the master cylinder cabin side? remove some of the plastics?

just seen this info on an old forum post: To remove clutch pedal you will need to remove heating mixer this is done by three brass screws and one connector this will allow you enough space to remove pedal nuts. * Remove 1 or 2 sensors by disconnecting and unscrewing thread, then remove 1 bolt above clutch pedal and 2 nuts holding clutch master cylinder and pedal together - so probably the heating mixer
