The only logic to select a cb300r over a KTM Duke 390 or a Interceptor 650 is if you are going to use the bike as your daily commute to office, then fuel consumption and it's nimble feet and reliability will really matter.

Awesome video guys. The only reason I would pickup the Honda over the Duke is reliability. I own a CBR 250 since 2012. Till now i never broke down. Not even once. And I don really maintain the motorcycle that well sometimes when I run out of vitamin M. Still after all that, its still going great. Even though there are bikes with better value, honda is the only company that can give you reliability.

@@abcdefg123401 CB300R - Pros: Superior performance (the only bike which beats CB300R is Duke 390 only- in single cylinder), Superb Stability, Refined, reliable, low-maintenance (Rs.3000 paid service) engine, getting a good mileage of 40+ in 80% highway usage. A very good mileage in 300cc bikes. Cons: Headlamp throw is not good for highways, need aux lights, Tank is small lesser than 10 litres, availability of spares is with delay only, pricier than BMW. If you need a bike that lasts for life, durable & reliable. There is a reason for this price... Top Notch performance. Let me know for any questions, I am in a CB300R owners group, will add you once you own one. We also have a Bangalore service manager in the group, who helps us getting the spares quickly.

this was very well made video. The banter between two friends is always great. The Tone, the mannerism and the way the argument is proved was very well executed. If I was to pick among these two bikes, definitely it is the honda, choosing a bmw just doesn't make any sense... the cb300r weighs 143kg. HMSI lists their bikes with saree guard weight unlike other manufacturers. Its why there's also a 4kg difference between international 650F and ours

Reason Why India trust and lives Japanese Bikes so much . Almost and none lowest maintenance cost , far too less major retailing cost compared to Europe anand american bikes in similar segements. Beyond power comes after sales services which is the key. Where BMW has become a benchmark. No chance for Honda to conquer it. Using a BMW since 8 months now and also had a severe crash where their after sales, RSA, insurance, services rocked. Honda can't even think of providing such services. BMW is expensive in price as well as services but worth if you wish to feel valued.

Both the bikes are great in their own respect. Want a big bike feel for city riding with a bmw badge, go for the BMW. Want a cheaper, "smallish" but better refined and retro look bike, go for the Honda. I have noted that the pillion seat is also veeery hard and uncomfortable on the honda but soft and comfy on the BMW. And honda has to be serviced every six thousabd kilometers whereas the BMW has to undergo servicing every ten thousand kilometers.
