Geat videos man! I'm also your size and weight and it's awesome that someone is finally doing such films. There is one thing lacking I think: I would really like to see from 3rd person perspective how do you look on these bikes. How high are your knees, overall position etc etc. I think it would be useful for such big riders as us.

Motorcycling is a hobby that is quite body size sensitive and body height resembles a normal distribution. So lots and lots of people are around average height and the further away you are from average height, the more seldom your height is. Motorcycling also being a mostly male hobby means you will most often see average height men riding.

Great video review!! I'm new owner one 2010 hornet abs too, I'm really happy with it, I used every day to go work and routes at weekends. I bough it for the same price as scooter, second hand of course, and looks like new one. For me is perfect, smooth to ride on city and very good power on the road rides. I watch quite a few videos of reviews of motorcycles and while there seems to lots of videos that answer a lot of questions from shorter riders there are not nearly as many for taller riders. I'm only about 6 foot 2 and I don't consider that to be much over average but I have got the feeling that many bikes are made more for riders shorter than I am. I hate watching a video that doesn't consider how the rider fits on it especially when it comes to how much leg room there is. I hope you keep making reviews for people like me.

A very good review I enjoyed the fact that you got straight to the nuts and bolts so to speak. Some reviewers spend far to much time with long intros and music. So 10 out of 10 from me, also I’m 6’ 2” and looking for a newer bike so if you find the bikes you review comfortable then I’m share I will be fine with them. , I thought about the hornet but I don’t like that it has no centre stand. Thanks again. Forgot to mention it’s a beautiful part of the world where you live very scenic great for biking.👍👍👍

May I cheekily recommend my review on my main bike, the fz6 s2, very similar to this but has a center stand and is a lot more comfy. It is absolutely! I'm very lucky with the scenery.

@TheGorillaBiker5 жыл бұрын
Honestly I wouldn't worry provided it looks well looked after. Does it come with a warrenty? If not check have the valves been done, check the condition of the wheel bearings, throttle cables etc. Give it a good shake down test ride and if anything feels off dig deeper. Wheel bearings, valves and other consumables would be what I'd check. Condition of the forks and the seals also. Is the rear shock leaking etc. I4 Honda engines go forever provided they've been looked after so if service history is available then you're grand. Thanks for watching

@beregirobert12615 жыл бұрын
I've watched the video. Have to say that before my girlfriend spended a few hundred euros to buy motorgear I was thinking about the FZ6. It is nice and comfy. But not the best for 2 persons on long distance. Maybe I'm wrong then let me know. Just can't decide what to buy CBF 600 or FZ6. Both are 10/10 for me and price is also similar. I want it with ABS because of the dumb drivers here in eastern Europe. So yes have to try both of them. About Hornet if the dealer will have Hornet on stock than I will try if not then probably I will leave it for a while.
@TheGorillaBiker5 жыл бұрын
I've used it 2 up and it's pretty spacious for 2. The seat on the Hornet is smaller but the power delivery may be more suited to 2 up riding on the Hornet. Personally I think the FZ6 would be just as good as the Hornet. Yes fair ABS is always good to have! I'll try get it on my next bike I think. I would suggest trying a Hornet, FZ6 and if you can afford the bike, I know it's pricier, a Triumph Tiger 800, I think maybe that'd be very good for a tall guy +1 person.

Hey Gorilla, my name is John i'm in the state of Virginia in USA. I would like to know if i could find a 2001- 2002 Hornet 600S with the fairing. We only had Hornets in 2005 and 2006 there are very few here. And mostly pretty ratty. So if not the 600S then a 2013 model. I have a 900 Hornet but the 600 is much more involving and demands that you ride accordingly. It's more fun to go fast on a slow bike than to go slow on a fast bike and i teally don't need the power of the 900. I have been CRAVING a 600. I fornd one nice one with a discrepancy on the odometer and 31k miles. Thats the story, so what do you think??? I could actually really use some help with this. I don't know if you can help or not. I have contacted American Honda and am waiting for a response. Peace brother ... keep tje rubber down.

Hello John! Well being based in Ireland I'm not sure how much use I can be. There are a few for sale over here, and 1 or 2 in the UK as well. I'll one or two links at the bottom but I'm assuming shipping them over would probably make it too expensive. I agree though, a 600 is always a bit more involved I think :) I'm probably not much use sadly being very far away but what I'd do here is just talk to a local dealer or put an ad up on a local selling platform, you have craigslist right or I think it's called that. But yeah ask a local dealer to source one or an ad asking for one you'd never know who'd have one hidden away. You too bud! And i heard the engine in the video to me that's teally the beating heart ya know!. There's rwally nothing better out there what with the build quality and such. I sent Fowlers Honda in England an e main asking about importing one so i will see what they say. For now i will just have to ride my Hornet900 known as the 919 here. You know we couldn't have it called the Hornet here because AMC or American motor corporation had a Hornet and they went under in the late 80's. Too bad cuz Hornet just sounds so cool and i have been a honda guy since around 1975. Anyhoo was nice talking we should keep in touch. Peace
