Good to hear the 800-mile trip is getting closer… looking forward to the content you’ll share about it. On the Tuesday after Memorial Day I visited with Ben and Melissa at Trail Buddy and mentioned you may stop in either before or after the trip around Lake Michigan, as you’ve said in an earlier video. I’m sure they’ll be more than glad to see you.

I don’t know if we’ll be stopping by TB, since I was just there a few weeks back. We found out that the ferry offers parking for $5 a day.
@donsoule64116 ай бұрын
@@MiniBikeMike Oh, that sounds like you had thought of possibly leaving your vehicles parked at or near TB in Zeeland, then ride the 91-miles on the bikes to Ludington and the S.S. Badger dock?

@@donsoule6411 We’re crossing the lake at Muskegon and the Lake Express Ferry. I’m not sure where we’re staying on Wednesday night, but I think it’s in the Muskegon area.

@@MiniBikeMike Wow, The Lake Express sounds like it will add a lot of excitement to the trip and speedy crossing to Milwaukee, WI.. Here’s wishing all the best that your planning goes as-well-as possible.

I really enjoy the realness of your videos, you are happy to show the stuff ups... that's the reality of a workshop regardless of how good you are and real people relate to that. Nice work!

Thanks. I quit watching regular TV about 15+ years ago. I switched to watching KZbin, because I felt it was real people, doing real things, in their own garage. None of that “made up” drama of the network car/bike shows. When I decided to start my own channel, I made a vow to be as real as possible. I appreciate the kind words.

You're doing the Lord's work, Mike! My two brothers and I pooled our paper route money back in the 1970s and bought one of these CT 70s used. We completely abused it, doubt we even ever changed the oil for the 3 to 5 years that it ran (Who knew? Certainly not my Dad!) , and had loads of fun riding it in some local woods. Many fond memories. Where the heck is Martinsville?
@MiniBikeMike6 ай бұрын
Martinsville is 40 minutes south of Indianapolis and 20 minutes north of Bloomington, IN.

Great job on that bike! Another one saved from the parts pile. Can you tell me what size heat shrink tubing you used to re-sleeve the cables and where you purchases it from?

Thanks. Best of my memory, the shrink tube came from eBay……a long time ago.
