Honda K-Series Swapped FOXBODY Mustang!! | 1/4 Mile Time

This was the most interesting find of the weekend!
As I was filming the "Quebec Grudge Wars" event at Napierville Dragway this past weekend, I randomly walked by this Honda K-swapped Foxbody Mustang.
The owner Alex was kind enough to take us through this awesome build, and then put down a solid pass on the drag strip.
This Mustang features a Honda K24 bottom end and a K20A2 head with valve springs and retainers. The bottom end is mostly stock so it's only making about 650hp with that 72mm turbocharger.
The best part about this swap is the custom billet adapter they built to mate the k24 to a 2 speed power-glide transmission. The rest of the car is all foxbody Mustang including the driveshaft and 8.8 rear end.
This is known to be the first ever k-swapped Foxbody with a glide!

@@shoDOHC Gonna be a crazy build, I love a coyote but since they only had the SVO for 3 years I plan to keep a 4 in it, still on original motor but if it breaks, almost no aftermarket for SVO 2.3 so hopefully k or if it’s to expensive got 2.3 eco

I'm not involved in my local area car scene. So I don't know somebody that knows somebody. All shops that I see that does things that I want are far AF. I feel like I want something relatively simple. I've got a 92 Chevy Beretta lol see pic that I wanna k-swap. I'm fine with keeping it fwd & I only wanna make around 400ish hp & 300ish in tq. That's @ the wheel. I've reached out 2 soooo many so-called speed shops & they're like " ohh we don't do work like that!"

Why most people use stock pistons and don't bore out the cylinders is because they are coated in molybdenum. makes them more reliable with less friction.

If these engines werent so expensive id put it in my s197, but i can build a 800hp LS, and swap it in the stang, with a cd009 trans and adapter, and rear axle from a GT... for cheaper than just getting the f20 amd trans for. Its annoying.
