Question the honda has 3 harness coming in , how come you use only one adapter and do not connect the other 3

i thought I saw you had the Metra face place kits that includes the connector and face cover which you should put it in that will cover the gap, right?

Yeah, i was having some trouble adjusting the stereo to my center console which caused the face plates to not fit correctly. since i have other plans for this vehicle i don't mind the gaps. but you are correct the face plates/ cover should be installed with the radio.

yeah, the stereo works like a charm. there are some issues that i have come across. for example when you make multiple changes to the settings like the EQ, Brightness and using the apple car play, the stereo will crash the stereo and send everything back to default settings. but it still works perfectly fine. that could be an issue with the stereo or a bad fuse in the stereo.

Definitely, i believe the wiring would be the same through every trim level of each model. the only difference is the original NAV wont be relevant anymore. so the cables are still the same or you would have to buy the correct cables for that model but everything would still be straight forward and similar to this video.

Bro i don’t understand why u have 2 harness i order after market harness for my Honda pilot 2007 but i got only 1 and i have another one from my head until but look like u have 3 harness. Or i mistaking ?

ohhh!! lol yeah, the 3rd one is optional. it makes the install a-lot cleaner and less headaches. with the adapter i can also go back to the original stereo without having to cut more wires, it's as simples as removing the adapter and connecting the wires from the vehicle directly to the original stereo. hopefully this was helpful. in your case, your going to cut the wires from the dash and connect them to the wires that came with the stereo. which isn't a problem. just depends on what ur trying to achieve. i wanted the ability to go back to the original stereo incase i wanted to sell the car.
