Good information here. I didnt know you could reuse the K24a/a2 oil pump and simply add an additional quart. All the info Ive seen on this swap has indicated a modified k20a2 oil pump is necessarily to complete this swap. Ill keep this in mind for future reference.

Yes, I wouldn’t recommend driving it down the road. You can definitely start it up and move it around though

Why didn’t you just swap out the VTC from the original motor as the k20z3 vtc is 50*

I used the original housing, water pump, and oil cooler from the k20

@@neflo8090 absolutely. I've done several of these and use the original Water pump housing every time. My k24 swapped CRV has a k20 water pump and oil cooler setup on it

Did you have to use spacers on the lower motor mount to give you clearance on the firewall since the k24 is taller?
