Tbh the price of this isn't THAT crazy for what it is. A night in a luxury hotel can be around twice that price , and that's without all the food and drinks and the day out etc. Would love to do this someday.

You could try the Caledonian Sleeper train from London to Scotland! I've always wanted to try an overnight train but I feel like you don't get nearly enough luxury for the price. Such a novelty to sleep on a train though!

I loved this! I would definitely give it a go if I was in England! Suggestion: I would love some more cheap vs expensive hotels in other towns/cities - like Brighton, Manchester etc

I actually don't think that is vastly expensive. Especially if you drink alcohol. Food and drink prices are high at the moment,and you are paying for the experience. I thought you were going to say like £1000!

I grew up in Oxford (in kidlington, which is the train station you got off at) and went to Blenheim palace regularly growing up. It's a perfect place for locals to take kids for a walk and go to the playgrounds, butterfly house, and maze. I definitely took it for granted and love going back now for dog walks when I visit my family, the grounds are wonderful. A lot of my friends worked there too, and we knew some people who were live-in staff. It's an amazing place, and it's such a shame I don't live near it anymore.

This is exactly how I feel! I grew up in east oxford and my granny would often take me and my brothers to Blenheim - this video made me far more grateful for my experiences there!

I think it's wonderful value. My friends and I have Christmas lunch on the Northern Belle every year. An analysis of the beautiful food, journey travelled, comfort and wonderful service puts the cost into perspective. I only wish they did more trips from Liverpool. The staff are phenomenal.

You’d probably love to know that I find it so interesting how I watch & love these types of videos, even though personality wise me and you are complete opposites! I couldn’t think of anything more boring than a train journey, London, touring a palace… BUT I enjoy every single one of your videos and surprisingly loved this! I appreciate how honest you are and I love seeing how much you enjoy the small things in life (or big things like this video!) I just wanted to say, I’ve been watching you for years and we are completely different people and probably have nothing in common, but I love your videos and will continue to watch every single one! All middle to high end travel caters to dietary needs. Non alcoholic drinks are standard everywhere these days. There’s a world of great alternatives out there. We’re past mineral water these days. One of the girls in the video also said she was served non alcohol drinks non stop. Their website says “Are all our meals and drinks included? While you are on board your meals and drinks, as described in the itinerary, are included. A selected range of alternative alcoholic drinks are also available for purchase. Can you cater for special dietary requirements such as vegetarian? Yes. If notified at the time of booking, we will do our best to comply with any dietary requirements. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide meals requiring strict religious observance in preparation.” They had loads of plant based menus on their menu and they looked amazing so obviously they’re working with all sorts of dietary needs. They can buy anything they can’t fix themselves. Gluten free and vegan is not odd and unusual these days. I always explain what I can not eat when I book. Be short and specific.

I would recommend Blenheim at Christmas, they decorate the inside of the Palace and have a lights trail through the gardens, this year the theme is the snow queen ❄

£400 is a bargain for all that! It used to cost me around £180 for the train journey back from Bath to Warrington on a standard cross country train when I was a student (and this was 5 years ago so I can only imagine it’s more expensive now). Trains are so expensive in the U.K. when you’re going from South to North and vice versa. So, I’m actually shocked at the price of this, I was expecting you to say nearer to the £1000 mark to be honest.

Definitely 5 Star luxury which does come with a big price tag. The champagne is VC. Having taking this train on June11th with a steam train which is a lunch meal route I can confirm it was excellent. Service was incredible and worth every penny. Food was excellent, we had the same meal and dessert. Seating was comfortable and the staff were SOO attentive.

I live about 15/20 mins from Blenheim place, always go there for a walk and slip through one of the side gates for entry 🤫 If you go back, the village next to it Bladon, Churchill is buried at Bladon church so you can go and see that. Also, may be worth staying in Oxford and having a look around the city, quick bus ride in 👍

Ok so I’d say my favourite veg is probably broccoli just because it’s so versatile. For example: roast dinner … broccoli. Stir fry … broccoli. Nandos … tenderstem broccoli. Tell me a dinner time dish you wouldn’t eat broccoli. Go on I dare you. You can’t. It’s simply the best. However my second fave would be cauliflower and third cabbage
