Күн бұрынAALS is honoring the late Professor Charles Ogletree (1953-2023) with the 2024 AALS Triennial Award for Lifetime Service to Legal Education and the Legal Profession, the association’s highest honor. During his 30 years at Harvard Law School, he became known as a civil rights icon who helped frame the national conversation on criminal justice, discrimination, and reparations. He was a fierce trial lawyer, a dedicated teacher, and an invaluable mentor to a generation of Black attorneys.
