Yeah you guessed right. The setting in this song was of nepali royalty and the song had influences from hilly areas in the form of dress, some dance steps, instruments etc. Vyjantimala has got looks, she is trained dancer and she is very good actress too, you could see the emotions she was able to bring in this song. As you said she covered the whole area, overpowed even the back up dancers, thats why this song is one of her very famous iconic one. And lata ji, well she is always pleasant to hear. It's like an obvious fact. The lyrics of the song literally meant" I came hiding something on my lips If it comes out ,can bring destruction". It would have been so better if all the Bollywood songs on you tube had English subtitles, as a lot of times context is necessary. That's why she looked so agitated in whole song. Anyway it's always so good to watch these songs, Always make me nostalgic. Enjoyed your reaction video and would love if you keep continuing reaction to many iconic old songs.
