Yes! I do enjoy seeing more of the actual farrier whose footage I’ve come to enjoy! Don’t get me wrong, it’s been fascinating to just watch the heart of what you do (hands and tools on hooves), but it was such a great change to see more of the process and more of the mechanics of how you do your job. Thanks!

Do I want to see more Maupin?! Uh... YEAH. Crazy thing is, just a year or 2 ago I didn't even know what a Farrier was. And because of your content, I'm hooked on the process and art. Looking forward to the Q&A!

I notice different numbers of nails and nail holes in horseshoes. What determines how many nails and which holes to use?

I thought it couldn't get better than the last one but this is my new favorite video on this channel. I still love the old video format and starting but I also love the new one. I don't see how it can get any better than this; the colour balance in this video makes it look so much warmer and happier than usual, there's all the shoeing and blacksmithing process I love watching, there's the lovely horse and not just its leg, and then there's the farrier smiling. Like can it get better? I do like seeing more of the farrier but maintaining the old format is also awesome because I'm here for his skills and workmanship from the start. Anyway, can't wait for the Q&A or the next video since this one is setting the bar pretty high already!

Been watching you for a long time. I'm a retired farrier and I want to say it is a pleasure watching your work. I think your format is great, and your filming cinema if that is how you would say it is outstanding. Thanks for taking us along, your work is hard enough.

Hello, greetings from Portugal. Don't get me wrong but the cameraman needs to work on his shooting: he needs to get the focus locked on the hoof and needs better filming angles. Read this as a constructive criticism and not as a depreciative comment. Thank you for your vids. Keep up the good work. And merry Christmas and a great 2023.

I love watching your videos. They’re so relaxing and makes my son fall asleep at night. He loves your videos too. Best part for me is when you’re shaving down the hooves and filing them at the end. The sounds of the shaving and filing is hypnotic to me. I’d like to know when you’re hammering the shoe, what is the reason for that?

Would love longer, more in depth videos. I wanna say I saw your videos when they first started coming out. Probably honestly my favorite farrier to watch. I don’t even ride horses but this is something I’ve always been interested in and wanted to do for some reason. Would love longer videos and also a little more in depth, like more explanation of some stuff. Like what the pink putty is and stuff like that. Love that video’s guys!!

Good lookin foot! I really like the way you finish it off, with your double clinching, filing, sanding, and of course the hoof oil. Looked like you have a new 'stiff' apron. As for seeing you, that's fine, but what I would like is to hear you, some narration would be great! I hope y'all have a good one! 🐎 👍 🇺🇲

fancy shoes, I feel like that would cost 200$ a hoof out where I live aaah, I think basic shoeing cost 400$ and when I realized my mare only needed front shoes we rejoiced with the money saved LOL

Ok, so I had asked what you were cutting. I realized you cut the support things. Why? Does that put pressure on the hoof? 🤔 why are they there then, I thought it was for support? Or something else 🤔.... The things I think of when I can't sleep. The struggle is real, y'all.
