He had that until Draymond drove him out of town. Folks forget how far he came from his rookie season to being a major contributor on a title team.
@crashxaironАй бұрын
@@cycleoflife565but bro did it to himself too. It was obvious his ego got waaaaay bigger than his talent. He was taking horrible shots and you could see the frustration Steph and Klay had with him on the court, and in Draymond's podcast right before the punch, he even admit that players were asking him to talk to Poole about his trash talking during practice that was getting out of hand, in which Draymond said he loved it. Except later that week, it was directed at him and that's when Dray didn't like it no more. He was in the best culture, best team and surrounded by the best vets/leaders/coaches. He knew where he was drafted and what he did in the finals, and fell into the hype of being the next Steph Curry and future of the Warriors. It's really an story about his ego and downfall, even being surrounded in the best environment.
@cycleoflife565Ай бұрын
@@crashxairon So what you’re saying is Draymond, who talks smack as much as anyone in the league, loved Poole’s smack talk until he was the object of it. Green can dish it but can’t take it obviously. Words alone motivated him to mug a teammate during practice. IMHO Poole wasn’t to blame. Green’s violent antics have been progressively getting worse over the years and he never sincerely takes responsibility for his actions.

Im a Dubs fan until Draymond gets mentioned. What he did to GP3 was horrible. I love GSW and will defend them till the ends of the earth, but I lost my respect for that dude when he socked Poole.@@cycleoflife565
@cycleoflife565Ай бұрын
@@crashxairon Don’t you find it funny that they ask the mouth that never closes to talk to Poole about his trash talking? How would that work out? “Do as I say, not as I do” type of mentoring? The consequences were a back and forth words between the two until Green was one upped, just couldn’t handle it and resorted to violence. Ultimately he failed Poole and the team as a leader and what chemistry existed within the team was destroyed in a short few months after they celebrated winning a championship. Poole was exiled to a bottom dwelling Wizards franchise while Green is being celebrated by the league front office and the media as if nothing happened. Now who is the real cancer in this scenario?

that's classless to pick on Jordan Poole. talk about "bad shots." taking a shot at Poole is a bad shot. you're punching down. he already got knocked out, got traded, Washington's even on a losing streak since they played the dubs. this just comes off as bullying. Poole is no prince. he's almost as big of an a-hole as Dray, but without the hall of fame basketball chops nor punching skill. plus you could have focused on how great the Ws are playing, but you want to focus on this? not a good look. (btw, Ws have a plus minus that matches their finals years plus minus through ten games, so they really have been that good so far.)

Jordan Poole just has to let go of the highlight. He could make that bad shot but he's a rhythm shooter at heart. He tried to shoot his way out of a slump with bad shot selection. But that shot is within his wheel house. Poole is Pooles worst enemy. He also needs to pay attention to defense. The older he gets the more he will cause problems for his career. He needs to turn it around and be seen as at least a defensive average. Instead of what he is now. Because he has all the tools to be good at defensive but poor mentality.
