When I first heard the song (I was a kid back in the 90's) I thought he said "I'm such a baby, close the door and make me cry"- thinking that, because it's a love song, he gets emotional over the thought of her leaving him. To find out years later that he said "I'm such a baby, yeah the Dolphins made me cry"- and that it was actually a reference to the Miami Dolphins and that they haven't won a championship since Superbowl VIII, not only does it make me laugh, but damnit I LOVE it!
