I did car sales for around 2.5 years from 2006-08. It was just a small dealership but we did have some characters and adventures. One sales manager would go buy Mickey's Big Mouth on a Friday or Saturday night and we would drink them right before the store closed. Eventually he ended up wrecking his demo vehicle. A couple sales guys were arrested at the dealership for not paying child support and another for taking a gas ticket and filling up someone's gas tank. We also had a compulsive liar who would just make up stories about how much money he had, the big boat he owned, and how many houses he had. We even had 2 sales people get in a fight in the parking lot! As crazy as it could be sometimes, it was a fun place to work and I did meet some very nice people.

I sold a demo once (not mine) And the customer found panties and an empty vodka bottle under the seat when they got home in their "brand new" vehicle. And someone (usually a manager) is always after the receptionist. Always. Its truly creepo central.
