This is just a quick update, I got impatient so I decided to install the M-Jet 35 into an old hull I built 3 years ago, before I start building a good one. I expected it would hopp and dont worry guys, I know how this can be fixed. But the hull is too small anyway so I will start building a proper 50cm carbon fiber sprint hull soon. Yeah and the pump does not leak at all! Credits to my gf for shooting this video:)

This is a good showcase of your pump priming

Always fun to make a boat jump out of the water from a dead-stop! It seems your spaghetti-nozzle has good trust! Looking forward to see this pump in a hull, which will stay on the surface of the water!

That is a ridiculous amount of power for that tiny boat!

It is, haha. Its just a quick test before I build a proper hull

It reminds me of skipping a rock. Is it hopping like that because it has too much power or is it something to do with the shape of the hull?
@mjetdevelopment2 жыл бұрын
The shape of the hull is bad, it has too small "delta" in front of the intake in a too sharp angle, it is not wide enough and CG is way too far in the back. Actually this hull hopped even with the previous ooold jet on low power I had in it. Hopping can be fixed by adding/increasing the length of a ride plate, or trimming the nozzle downwards so that the stream pushes the rear upwards.
