Could always use a different kind of glue, or put an additive in it so its liquid properties change. Less elastic, the right viscosity to not bubble like that, etc. Maybe call NileRed?

I mean you could probably use a peltier cooler to both heat up the hot glue coming in and going out if designed correctly the only issue I'd see it having is you'd have to leave it to heat up/cool down for a but then again I don't know anything about engineering so I could be completely wrong

Used to work at a place where we fired hotglue pretty far at large cardboard rolls at least 1.5m as we couldn't get it closer due to robots being in the way. So there are certainly people working with this stuff. But he's probably the world leader in portably propelling glue

Dude, that's awesome! I admit, I've seen a couple of the hot-glue style webshooters and never expected they could work this well. I think you've probably still gotta go with a grappling hook-like design if you wanna swing from it, but I'd love to be proven wrong!

Plus, the glue dried when It stuck to the car. This would need to be instantly therefore you would have to have some kind of freezing device to freeze the glue stiff making it near on impossible.

What you could do is have a way of cooling it down sooner so that it dries almost instantly by the time it reaches the target. As well as once this part of the web shooter is completed fully, maybe adding some carbon nanotube threads to them in a way where you can regulate their length and then swing on them once they are fired. Look into carbon nanotubes basically, they have very similar properties to Spider-Man’s webs except for the stickiness and maybe stretchiness.
