Nice vid Tim. The Hot Laps 5l does have a small side pocket on it on the right side. It will fit a couple of gels or a multi tool in it. I keep my Hexus tool in mine. I really rate the pack though, since getting mine in late 2018 I've used my old camelbak skyline once.

Yeah I did find that pocket it’s quite small to be fair but just about sized for a tool. I clearly have good and bad things to say about both these I’ve had the luck of being sent, but I think I favour the Source.

Depends on your DSLR and lens. I think you’ll struggle with anything other than a small mirrorless and small kit lens. There’s also no padding for fancy cameras. Don’t risk it

They both kind of do different things - I’ll do a “long term” comparison video soon. The Hot Laps maybe edges the Source out.

I like the way the Source has different pockets and you can organise stuff, but for sheer versatility the Hot Laps is better as you have a large compartment should you need to carry lunch or something. or want to another layer or something.
