I was gonna come on here to say that I’ll just wait for ROTS… but now I’ve seen the video may well have to get both! That headsculpt looks an improvement on the prototype - mostly due to the paintwork I think.

FINALLY. Can’t tell you how long I’ve been wondering where this guy in particular was. This is gonna be the only version of palpatine I’m gonna have, I just prefer this aesthetic above the others, and this is also a palpatine fave before he got got by mace windu.

This figure looks awesome. The big bad of the entire Skywalker saga and an absolute must have. my only gripe is that i wish that the lightning bolts were a couple of inches longer. They are great looking, just too short in my opinion. That said, I'll probably display mine with the lightsaber...

It's way too much, any other company releases about 5 figures over a 6 month period. It feels like every week we get another Star Wars figure and what's worse is that if you miss the initial preorder window or release date you're gonna have to deal with scalpers that add an extra $200 to all these figures.

@@TK421Collectibles Honestly mate, when watching this vid, I just thought he had a strong resemblance to him, but after just doing a pic search of McCoy, I'm like, "Holy crap!!" 😮 I'm now starting to think Hot Toys have mistakenly used the wrong Scottish actor as reference! 😂😂 Interesting(?) sidenote: I went round to my mum's yesterday who told me she's going on a scenic coach trip to Dunoon in Scotland tomorrow.. Guess who I've just found out was born in Dunoon? Only Sylvester bloody McCoy!! How mad is that? 🤣🤣
