UPDATE: The video got flagged for the backing track used during the section on The Precinct. KZbin's inbuilt tools have removed it to the best of its ability, but that's why there's a sudden change in VO quality for that part. The rest of the video is otherwise unaffected.

One thing that is cool about the Nextfest videos is that it reveals how wide the world of gaming is. I’ve had my own Nextfest list, and while we share some games, there are other really cool games that aren’t. It’s always neat to see what demos people end up being drawn to

Man, when you showed that clip of ANTONBLAST's original demo, I forgot how primitive it looked and just how much has changed since then, it's crazy!

Oh, that Wilmot game now has a picture puzzle offshoot? Now I want that! And, I can't wait for Citizen Sleeper 2 ever since I played that game last year after sleeping on it (pun completely intended). And I can't wait for Antonblast too, but since the devs got hit by the 2 hurricanes, that'll have to wait, understandably so.

I’m more of a grand strategy or immersive simulator kinda guy. So stuff like CK3 and Hollywood Animal which isn’t out yet is what I’m looking for.

While I have yet to play most of the games Ive downloaded from this next fest the front runner for my most anticipated is obvious. Obro's Exodus It's a sequel to one of my favorite 3D platformers in Orbo's Odyssey it is just more of everything I loved form the first one. High Speed Nonsense, Surreal and Ominous Humor, and with the new addition of hats that modify movement to new extremes. I can't wait till it comes out.

I really need to get a way to play steam. I only have a switch but I'm pretty much over AAA gaming. I love indie games now and steam seems to have way more options in that area. Too expensive though as I don't own a computer. Any recommendations for a way to play steam portably for around 200-250$?
@hotcyderАй бұрын
Valve were selling refurbished steam decks for a while though it seems they're currently out of stock. The specs on all these games are low enough you could potentially look at an entry-level laptop to play them. It wouldn't be quite as portable as something like the Switch, though much more than a desktop PC. Otherwise, I imagine a Valve competitor might come along that can do the concept in a cheaper device focused more on indies :)
