had it for years.. never played it... for what ever reason i started it and had a shit ton of fun with it.. real cool vibe and the end was super twisty

2005 HAS to be the best year for video games in history, there were SO many "best of" games that year God of war 1, devil may cry 3, resident evil 4, need for speed most wanted, prince of persia two thrones, shadow of the colossus, kingdom hearts 2, psychonauts, burnout revenge, castlevania dawn of sorrow, midnight club 3 dub edition, etc

superstars was kinda mid, it was just boring and lazy, like they couldnt even make all the music for it original, I CAN DO THAT and im solo, and so can all indie games that have even a SINGLE artist im just mentioning this since it was in the intro antonblast and pizza tower im super damn satisfied with, while superstars felt like a punch in the gut ig..

The game is really nice without being too long to finish the first time (take like 6 and half to 7 and half hours for a first launch to credit without grinding for more than 1 or 2 more HP but with 1 hour just for the final level and boss) Very nice crazy jazzy or rock musics and easy to learn but fun gameplay. Except the hard difficulty spike in the end and very rare annoying moments it's an amazing game.

Ok . Wend will we see a GAME that is inspierd by "SHADOW the hedgehog" . Cause . We are seeing too much . Wario Land "Inspirations" . That at this points we are gonna have a BILLIOM games that is INSPIERD by wario land . Like everyone wants to make a GAME that is based on wario GAMES . But no 1 wanted to make a GAME that inspierd by SHADOW the hedgehog . Cause . Just like who mario has a COMPATITOR like sonic . Why not insen't there ANY games that is inspierd by SHADOW .

I've seen a lot of people bringing up Crash Bandicoot as a comparison for this game plays, But I mostly felt the essence of the original Donkey Kong country trilogy here - with just how tight, demanding and still fair it all is

As a kid that grew up on family guy, south park,dragon ball and spongebob/Johnny test. We baby babies too much. I don't even see it as the right you raise you baby by making sure it doesn't learn about the world werid.

This is my favorite game like you put it. Anton blast is a new game that is proud of it's inspiration without the need to impersonate them even if I never played Wario land, sonic advance ,crash bandicoot. I would love this little red guy all the same.

Wow. I'm not on the fence about this one anymore. Looks amazing!!

I think the best part about AntonBlast is how it proves that games like Crash Bandicoot, Donkey Kong 94', and the Wario Land series weren't simply flukes of their era, a "lightning in a bottle" moment in time that couldn't be improved upon or rejuvenated if a team ever came together to make another game of that style. The callbacks are great, especially if you've played Anton's inspirations, but the game speaks with such a wild and original voice, that those elements feel tertiary compared to all that it has under the hood. It's in your face without feeling tacky, it's just as intense as it is goofy, its snappy and well-paced while still having a lot of meat when it comes to stage design. The setup of the game is fairly straightforward, yet you still feel invested in this insane world and its characters. There's lots of flavorful bits all throughout that really showcase the stylistic essence they were going for, somewhere between the slightly profane works of an internet web series, and the bite sized interstitial gags of a WarioWare cutscene. We don't love Anton because we love Wario, or Crash, or heck even Mario himself. We love Anton because his game is something of a rarety in the modern video game landscape, a game entirely unrestrained in what it wants to do, a purely passionate work that sees nearly everything it set out to do till the end. Plus, I mean, I think we all could use some more stellar action platforming these days?

Now I can rest assured why cinnamon springs is going to be in ANTONBLAST
