They both look beautiful. I really prefer to set with a loose powder and then to buff with the hourglass powers. They are great for making everything look blended.

Both are beautiful on you! No texture noticeable on camera. I love that blush on you from the Unlocked palette. I really wanted that palette because of those blushes, but I went with the Universe palette because I’m a lighter skin tone.

Yes, Mo, I’ve been waiting for this! The product looks beautiful on you but you asked which we prefer, and I absolutely love the Unlicked palette on you. I think it looks amazing on you. The other side washes you out juuuust a little bit, but it’s still very soft and pretty. I’ve ordered the Unlocked palette and also the one that you’re still waiting for. Looking forward to seeing your review on that one. I wonder if women with deeper complexions will be able to use the middle shade of Ambient Strobe Light III for bronzer. I really hope so. Mo Makeup Mo Beauty Yes, they definitely need to step up the deeper shades because the Unlocked palette would have been more inclusive if they’d deepened the bronzer a bit. Again, it looked great on you, and will work for some tan complexions, but only the blushes and highlighter (and possibly the finishing powder) will work for deeper complexions. It will be interesting to see what the richer beauty community members will think of their new products.

Those powders are beautiful as finishing powders after applying setting powder to give that blurring effect. They should also be applied after the bronzer, blush and highlighter to blend everything together and soften the look 🤗

I think the Unlocked looked more vibrant. I have seen other people say that these can cause textures but that Hourglass's setting spray (or others like that) helps the powders blend with the other products you are using better and make that go away.

I like the lighter one on your skin tone. Looks more natural and brighter. I am not personally fond of dark glowy makeup and felt the the lighter one gave you a more natural glow :) The darker one is noticeable but way too noticeable if you know what I mean 😅

Thanks for reviewing both. I am the same shade as you in the TF foundations. I own a few Hourglass finishing powers. I would not set with them. I use it to hit my forehead, nose, high points of my cheeks cause they are really glowy. I saw some creatirs buff into the skin with it but I think light application is best.

I've only tried one glowy finishing powder, from Too Faced, and I noticed it emphasized texture too. The more satin finish of ELF halo powder is better for me all over the face (not under eyes).

Set in the pore area and undereyes with a setting powder first and then go over the outer face with the hourglass finishing powder both look beautiful on you. Xx

It's not a setting powder. This is to use last. After setting powder, blush en bronzer. It's a finishing powder
