"Really good sized" is an understatement. This is a grand house suitable for a large family and for entertaining. On the ground floor I particularly like that, unlike many homes in the UK, the rooms interconnect, providing good flow for dinner parties and such. The Nissen building would be perfect for a car collection or a similar hobby, and the games room could easily become an accessory dwelling for a family member or as a rental apartment. The huge, grassy back garden is great for children - or adults - to play. The house is a bit dated, though it's elegant the way it is. My one negative reaction was at the beginning, when I saw this beautiful house surrounded by a sea of stone. Unless you anticipate needing parking for a dozen or more cars, the front garden should include flowers, shrubs and even trees. If this were in Arizona, where it almost never rains, stone would be appropriate, but in a country known for its lush, green vistas, I consider the frequent use of stone to fill a garden to be a disappointment. But that's just me.

Especially houses in the price range above 400,000 Pounds I always watch! Because those are the houses that usually have everything I want in a house.
