This is how you get better. My dad was 6’8 and blocked every one of my shots at the basketball court when I was younger. I only scored once in like three games. He didn’t show me any mercy either despite me being much shorter and a girl 😂 I miss him everyday and wish we could run them games back.

Me as well ! My dad always had love for the game but unfortunately by the time I did his body wasn’t able to hold up the same. We still play a little 3-4 man pick up everyone and again but I can tell my dad gets the nostalgia whatching me play. Would love to have seen him when he was my age and athletic. I practice kindness with my kid. She is 11 makes straight As in school, (in a very highly rated school district) is learning to play piano can sing like you wouldn't believe and her soccer team finished in 2nd place this year. I think she does all this because, she sense we love her and are rooting for her and doesn't want to disappoint us. That's me though. to each his own.
