I met Shaq rookie year. Waited outside when the players used to park in a lot and walk across street. A few metal barriers separating fans. I could hear bass from miles away. Here comes a burgundy suburban with Superman emblems. Hopped over barrier asked for a picture and what a dude. Thanks Shaq

First 3 seasons he only missed 2, maybe 3 games each season at most. Avg 26ppg, 12rpg, 2.2bpg, 57%FGs. Even his 4th season where he only played 56 games he still averaged about the same as all that. John Starks still gets chastized for his poor 1994 playoffs performance by Knicks fans til this day. I'm surprised not many say anything about brick Anderson about how he screwed Shaq and Penny out of a ring in 1995. Still, if anyone deserves this first, it's Shaq. Kinda wish the magic kept him even though of course he started really winning in LA. His career probably would've been so different.
