​@@chicabecca Dude/ette, cops are slow as fuxx even when fully staffed and well-funded. Our city hasn't had a cop shortage since the mid-90s but that was only during the early 90s before we had a gang-task force (which we no longer have a problem with). It's one of the only jobs in America where automation ISN'T being used correctly and outsourcing their mundane tasks. "What do you mean?" As much as cops bixxx about being monitored on cameras and whatnot, Amazon drivers and share-ride drivers are more heavily monitored than cops, they have more complicacy regulations, and have swifter consequences for compliance violations. Cops are routinely not turning on their body cameras or disabling their vehicles location tracker. Try turning off your vehicle tracker as a commercial trucker. See what happens. Much of their job can be automated as I said which would make their jobs much safer AND allow them to double-up to back each other up on calls. However local govt is more concerned with abusing automation to mass produce violations of people's civil rights. They can't get anything done because they're being fed too much irrelevant data.

This happens frequently! My tiny village in Ohio had criminals cooking meth in a house while the elderly family was on vacation but neighbors figured they didn't belong... Cops took them out on Monday, they bailed out on Wednesday and immediately returned to same house! Some people really lose every bit of brain on drugs
