Lively's maturity is understated. There has been plenty examples of big men that try to do more than they should offensively. Lively really just play within his role, get most out of the opponent gives him and do all the little things on the other end. There's a reason he end up with 100% fg in the conference finals. A couple of things you didn't specifically mention: Lively also is a very communicative defender, you actually hear him call out coverages in the game. His energy is through the roof, which works really well with these shorts stints of play combined with Gafford, constantly giving 100% every minute he is on the floor. He is also really fast for a seven footer, capable of running the floor in seconds to catch Luka throwing a crazy outlet pass across the court for an easy dunk. Part of what makes his plus-minus so high is how good he is defensively. He might block less actual shots at the rim like Gafford does, but his overall defense is excellent, being able to switch and stay vertical. His minutes often coincide with the 2nd quarter Kyrie solo playmaking, which works really well for him, as the Mavs pace of play goes up quite substantially when Kyrie is running the floor. His minutes also coincide with the last minutes of play, crunch time in the 4th quarter. He is a better freethrow shooter than Gafford, so it makes sense to have him there. But the Mavs are also the best 4th quarter team in the league, so that adds to his plus-minus as well. You could argue he is the 3rd most important Mav at this time, though PJ Washington has had some moments these playoffs too. I wouldn't want to choose between the 2 of them, they are both excellent.

If Porzingus comes back, Celtics in 4 or 5. Everyone in the Celtics primary rotation is a 3 level scoring threat, can all create their own shots and can score well from the post. For their position they play, Jrue, Brown and Tatum are super strong. A thing TWolves were heavily missing is a true point guard to can facilitate and space the floor for the team, and you see that when Mavs are getting stops on TWolves and forcing them to pass to each other and not anyone who’ll make plays. Derrick White can make plays very well but can also score from everywhere very efficiently. Porzingus being too tall and long while being a great shooter can shoot from the 3 point line and deep field a lot, forcing Lively to go deep field to stay on Porzingus, allowing Jrue to dominate the paint since he’s probably the strongest guard and that’s a mismatch for anybody. Same can be executed with Porzingus and Horford. Luka is usually on backside help on defence and yes he does run to the corner when they’re open and enough to give a contest, Jrue Holiday is 70% in corner 3s this season so there’s some free buckets. With this amount of help, Tatum and Brown are going to pop off with the threats they’re applying since they’ll get constant mismatches. Expect an average of 30 points from Brown and Tatum. Unlike TWolves, Celtics have the best defensive backcourts in the league with 2 all nba defenders.

Lively will become a really good offensive weapon, it's just gonna take some time. The dude just barely turned 20. But there's practice footage of him hitting 3's off the rack. Let's just take it a step at a time though. I'm thinking next year is when he gets a LOT more comfortable around the rim. Taking those power dribbles, with a little more muscle added in the offseason, you talked about. Developing like a solid 7 foot hook/push shot. Maybe even a few post moves. The year after that maybe he's got a 15 foot jump shot he can rely on. And maybe even starting to test his 3 point range. In any other season he's likely the Rookie of the Year. And if Kidd keeps these rotations going next year, you gotta believe Lively will be the favorite for 6th Man of the Year and possibly in the discussion for DPOY.
