You were the only to mention the potential of Miss Laos 🇱🇦. You are always so positive in your critiques of all the delegates and never let sash country determine in a delegate's potential, and that is very commendable. I am from the US but as a Hmong girl who parents were refugees from Laos it was great to see a Hmong person on the Miss Universe stage. Miss Laos reminds me a great deal of Miss Vietnam 2018 H'hen Nie who came from poverty in the countryside.

I just watched her interview and I loved it. I’m creating an episode about the interviews. Can you help me pronounce Hmong and Laos? Sometimes I think I hear an S and sometimes I don’t.

@Dani Walker There is a silent H in hmong but here is a video of people saying Hmong. Laos with the (S) refers to the country and Lao without (S) refers to the people. Hmong is one of minority group residing in Laos. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qJq2h4uArddsl7s

I watched Miss South Africa's closed door interview. GOSH, this girl speaks so eloquently. She was absolutely fabulous in her interview. Her speaking skills exceeded the highest expectations. How I wish, she was in the top 5. But I'm so glad she will compete at Miss Supra 2023 and Miss World 2023. Hoping she wins the 4th crown of Miss World.

I agree that R'Bonney has S-T-Y-L-E. I 'm so glad that she wore a Rian Fernandez creation instead of the boring boring boring Sherri Hills gown, which are not forward thinking. And you are right Dani, it will be awhile before we get another Miss USA's with style. Looks like many contestants look to the filipino designers for their gowns, which are cutting edge and more interesting to look at.

Hi Dani Thank you so much for all the work you put into making this video Taking all your previous videos and putting it all together for the final 16 candidates I can’t even imagine how much time that took you. I really really enjoyed this. I’m very grateful for you putting the time in. And I’m also very grateful that you talked about our miss Canada. I have found that most pageant commentators have simply ignored the fact that Miss Canada placed in the top 16 or they have something negative to say about her placing in the top 16 I followed all of your episodes very closely, and so this video was a good reminder of all the things that you said about all the candidates, And especially about what you said about our miss Canada and I think it was something along the lines that. I’m paraphrasing here… That people are underestimating Miss Canada I think Danny you’re the only one who noticed Miss Canada right from the beginning And I truly appreciate as a Canadian that though we are not at all a sash factor country You still stay true to who you are, and give props where they were due And recognized something special in miss Canada. I can’t imagine how hard the cyber bullying must be for Miss Canada right now. So many people are so negative about her, placing the top 16 and she is so young it breaks my heart that her accomplishment is being so overlooked and or being talked about in a negative fashion. I'm from the Toronto area and was pleasantly surprised to see Amelia survive the first cut. Now that I've seen her closed-door interview, I can certainly see why she made it. I hope Canada will keep getting stronger in international competition and win a few more crowns in the future (we're a Miss World and a Miss International away from completing our own Big 4 set)

Canada was the only surprise to me. Every other girl I noticed in some way and wasn’t surprised that they made finals. It was such a competitive year and I truly think the top 16 gave it all during the whole competition

Venezuela placed Top 10 MU 2014 Top 10 MU 2015 Top 3 MU 2017 2nd RunUp 2018 Top 20 MU 2019 Top 20 MU 2021 And 1st Ru MU 2022 They were way better when have the record for placing in the top 5 by 21 years consecutively. I don’t recall the years but I believe 80’s and 90’s were their best years

I’m excited to see what the contestants bring next year knowing that interview is going to be a huge percentage the prelim score. Watching the prelim interviews on the MU page has helped to understand why the top 16 made it.
