How are the 17T Chinese Turbos Holding Up?

Thanks for the silicone idea. Getting ready to install my 19ts next weekend so I’ll use some to avoid future leaks. Can you do a video on your clutch set up? I have the same going in my car soon. Would like to know how loud the chatter is and what the drivability is like. Thanks!!

Seems Chra seal n possible thrust oil bearing not upgraded and aren't holding up allowing oil to leak. Order turbo lab kit and rebuild units it just the seals n thrust bearing.... They always skimping on the internal parts like reviewed in turbolab vids. I suggest always rebuilding and adjusting wastegates units before installing from china. They're alway cutting corners. Hopefully the rears are in good shape as well. Worst case senerio you can get chra units an slap em in.. Id rebuild those too if from eBay lol Good luck Bro

do you have upgraded pcv and a breather cap? Should help with blow by along with catch can

i installed a low side catch can recently after the video so it basically deletes the PCV valve

@@menjicar I completely forgot about that. I used to run a catch can set up on an e90 and still dealt with oil pushing out the charge/intercooler piping. Went back to stock location pcv upgrade from bms alongside the breather cap and stopped having issues with blowby. Idk if maybe my catch can was a trash Amazon one? Same 17t set up too

you might have gotten hot and need to hone the port flat

broo you need to torque it so spec it will leak get a torque wrench
