Asahi really does give off that father like vibe to the rest of the team. From what you explain it really did feel like that was a weight he knew he had on his shoulders which made him so unsure of himself when it came to his abilities. He was both literally and metaphorically that person a lot of the squad looked up to. Kind of like a gentle giant lol. Superb video as always man!

Dude at this point I'm pretty sure that your story telling style is the key factor to these, "not so harsh reviews" being so good. Haikyuu is one of those master pieces that come only once in many decades but when watching/reading we go at a faster pace and often overlook the beauty of multilayered story that haikyuu is. That is where you come in. I get the feeling one needs to do multiple runs and even meditate on the themes and characters to be able to articulate them in story like fashion that is captivating and gives a strong message. Lastly your cadence is just right, slow and somber so that viewers can understand and digest what you are serving. For your channel: Pure quality is often appreciated by a niche audience only, for they are the ones with good enough constitution for it.(also youtube algo., upload frequency and what not)
@HarshReviews2 жыл бұрын
Wow, I’m humbled by your praise 🙏Haikyuu is wonderful and it’s always great to dig deep into its themes and express myself about them. Thanks for the kind words!

Personally, I relate a lot to Asahi's ark. I play as keeper in soccer (or football), and it is widely known as a solitary position, where the player is all alone many times when they face the opposing team. It's always all on them, when a defender makes a mistake and the offense takes a shot, it's all up to you to stop that attempt in its tracks. Simple mistakes can be made dozens of times on midfield without a single notice. But a single mistake could cause a goal for the keeper. What happened to me was the game went into a shootout, and we got soundly beaten. The worst part is that they all kicked to the same side, maybe not intention but still an insult to me. I went into shutdown for the rest of the day, and I needed to see that I needed improvement. I'm still working on it.

HAIKYUU is really one of the rare shows that give me goosebumps from time to time. It's so well-written and well-executed (even though the animation of the latest season sucked), it inspires me to do better in every shit I do. because if Hinata, Asahi, Tanaka, and the rest can overcome tough obstacles in the game, why can't I, too? Can I just also admit here that I literally cried in the bathroom while watching your Tanaka video.

Man.. again.. You are crushing it. It may be your genetics that give you this poetic voice, but the way you are writing and express yourself through it, it’s a skill, a well sharpened skill that you have developed. Even if I have thought the majority of the perspectives that you mention in the video, your narration is a key factor that makes me relive them and get hooked up again with the feelings that this anime has given me. P.S. I think as Oikawa and (legend) Bokuto had their manga videos, I think Asahi’s arc has a grand finale that has to be commented. Anyway, have luck (because luck is always good) with your exams and keep up!

My volleyball “team” in middle School was composed of people who only just learned the rules. There were me and one other who knew What a spike was from watching haikyuu. I would say he was the “ace” even though positions never mattered to most of us. Still he thought that because he was the ace he was supposed to be the Best player on the team, and that arrogance was rising since the first team we played against didn’t know How to react to a spike or even do it themselves. We went two matches good and then we come against a team where we were completely shut Down and he gets swapped out. Yup, the ace Was swapped out for our psudo ace. That hurt him alot
