How Bane Became a Sith (Deep Lore) - Star Wars Explained

Darth Bane was the Sith Lord who changed the way the Sith ruled the galaxy for the next thousand years. It was his Rule of Two that created a new order in the Universe that changed everything. Before him, Sith were fighting each other for centuries, to which he would come to change. The Rule of Two, as we'll come to learn in the next few series of videos from the Darth Bane trilogy, will open your eyes as to how everything came to be. It'll explain how Plagueis and Sidious ruled as just two and why it worked so well.
Bane's Rule of Two would die with Vader/Anakin Skywalker...that is...until legends, of course...

I truly recommend the audiobooks for the Bane trilogy for those who havn't given them a try! They have music from the movies and sound effects for pretty much everything such as lightsaber combat, forcepowers, spaceships and different areas. Also outstanding voiceacting! You won't be dissapointed!

The funny thing is that I just finished listening to the Darth Bane trilogy today. I have to say, the Plagueis novel is my favorite, but Darth Bane is my favorite Sith Lord. Literally going from being nothing, to becoming dark lord of the Sith. And path of destruction is the best out of the 3.

Bane was in my opinion smarter than Palpatine because he immediately recognized the sith as incomplete and by destroying them he actually unified them, and he only like three sith by himself. He actually gave them the idea for the thought bomb, also do a video, called what if sirak killed band. Love your vids

Hey I have an au idea that I’d love hearing you theorize about in a video at some point. What if Greedo overheard Luke and obi wan talking in the cantina before he spots Han and talks to them, (maybe even offers to transport them despite his orders to bring Solo to Jabba) and tells Luke how he grew up with Anakin and even bullied him a little until the day a tall Jedi and his apprentice came and took him away. This could lead to more scenes with Shmee and the other kids, and could lead Luke down a slightly darker path when Obi Wan disappears in his battle with Vader, leaving Luke with Leia and the Rodian gangster
