i loved how even during their solo work they put "of BTS" or when ever they introduce themselves too. Ive been an army for awhile and i can say rn BTS has always been selfless and always thought "how can we as a group? " rather than "how can i?" they always involve eachother and push eachother forward i love that about them and yes theres room for personal growth aswell. i just love how at the end of the day what matters most to them is eachother .

When I look at them, "Nothing beats a group when they all love each other." Just comes to my mind. I'm not even into Kpop but their main highlight for me is that they are full of compassion and love for each other and isn't that amazing and admirable?

I think people confuse having a sound with making music in one genre. Ed sheeran has a very distinctive sound that even when he writes for other people, you're able tell that he took part in the song.There are R&b singers that just do r&b but the songs don't sound the same. Rappers can just stick to rap and still experiment. But with 1d, they had a very distinct sound AND stuck to one genre. That can feel repetitive and over time get boring. Bts has a sound but makes music in multiple genres.

as a directioner I agree. Also I think why 1D didn't workout was their shit management and lack of creative independence

As someone who has been doing this since I was 15years old I can say she completely correct in a group everyone's needs to feel valued and be able to grow artisitically. That means talking and sharing and allowing each other to shine and not see it as a competition. To be selfless at time's and allow other members to shine while you take the back seat knowing full well you'll also get your time at the front as your band mate will take the back seat. Where you encourage each other to try new things expand your skill set. Otherwise you either stagnate, get bored yourself and slowly start to looking elsewhere and leave. This also happens if one person get's a huge ego that will also distroy a band/group.

So true like you can have ego because everyone is a human at the end of the day but not letting it consume you is where a lot of artists get it wrong. Because all of the members of the tannies have goals and what they want to achieve/do in the future as soloists or as a group but they would never let that jeopardize them as a team and would never act/do something in a way that it would put the team in a risk or paint them in a bad light. It also helps that they r genuinely good people like I have not heard one person who has worked with them since they've debuted or hell even stories from classmates, teachers, staff, people that came across bts/a member in the day to day like a delivery person, cashier etc etc not one has said anything bad or negative about their behavior inside or outside korea. Everyone is treated with respect

The colour of voice part is so true, it is like they are trained to sing a certain way and make's it harder to tell them apart on radio and on audio recording's. Whenever I see a group now and they cover BTS for example alot of the member's don't have the right vocal's for the part they take, like BTS perfected the Vocal's and anyone who cover's don't sound as appealing as much, so many vocalist's don't sound like they trained enough and was just thrown into the group on visual mainly, so nany male Idol's sound identical and i am talking 4th gen mainly Like vocal tone especially, so many Idol's in boy group's sound almost identical bcos of the singing style they've either taken or chosen.

I struggle to like other boy group's as they all have same sound and vocal style, 1st to 3rd gen was amazing for the opposite.

5:19 isn't ego comes when you start fighting for screen time , spotlight, or line distribution though? its the same thing ... hard to digest but thats what happened to 1D . they were auditioning on x factor as soloist who were put as a group by simon cowell to continue their journey on show . 8:04 i think rather than sound its more about same concept that gets boring . you can have a same sound and have different concepts or topic to talk about as you grow . rappers sound same but they talk about different topics , issues and even their delivery style changes sometimes . 15:14 forced in sense when everyone is good and want to be center but doesnt get to be ... then obviously the other position is being forced on them and it will become awkward or can say they become less enthusiastic to be there so it may seem unnatural.
@weirdme8302
@weirdme8302 10 ай бұрын
Regarding the forced: you kinda have to admit that members (you see it in kpop a lot with who sings what, and one member having less lines) are sometimes forced to take a part. Lets say if you have a banger song, the possibility that for example Jungkook gets the part as main vocalist is really high. (Disclaimer: BTS is here used as a hypothetical example) Even if Tae for instance wants to sing it, the possibility that the label says no, is there. Therefore Tae would be forced to sing another part. He isnt willingly singing it. HOWEVER bts doesnt apply to this, simply for the fact, that the members know where they should and can sing and who fits the lines best and are allowed to choose. but that is rare in groups since in kpop at least they dont get a say in it. tae for instance is aware where is voice fits or if jungkooks voice would be better here, so he naturally steps back. cause like you said "he falls into his place". But kpop groups often dont have that, they dont get to make that decision. They sing what they are told to, so sadly the vocal that gets less, is however talented, will complain and say, i am quitting. One direction as example for western boybands. BTS is an example that everyone can be a great vocalist and it can work which shows that the comment isnt true. But sadly many groups can't apply it for themselves and therefore they split up.
@ruthfischer7615
@ruthfischer7615 10 ай бұрын
... take another group for that example, please. Because the members decide who gets which line and have so since pretty much the beginning. (it's also funny because the high notes usually go to Jin - an Altontenor - or Jimin - a Countertenor - for a reason) I may also point out that Taehyung HAS sung high notes for example in Stigma. He has the widest range of them all. Not to mention in Idol groups usually the Idol can NOT simply quit - because the label has the right to make them pay out the rest of their contract aka. what they could assume they would earn with that Idol. They have to wait for their contract to run out. If they buy themselves out or sue themselves out of a contract they may have to quit the industry altogether. Which seems to happen to the members of Fifty Fifty with the exception of the girl that went back to the label. But it may be the end of the group when the contract runs out. The label plays the popularity game the same way fans do - which means different or more opportunities for the favored members - because this way they can earn more money and possibly get the popular members even more popularity. It's a rigged game. To succeed you as an individual need the opportunity to be popular which is why sooner or later the Idol has to ask themselves what they want/need for their future. It's your entertainment as a fan but it is their life and future. Some of this is in "The Rise of Bangtan"-series - I believe the episode is called "Friends". 💜

@@ruthfischer7615 I only used BTS as in a hypothetical way because everyone most likely knows them the best, since this is a video about them and armys are most likely only here. Like I explained one sentence later, it does not apply to BTS since like mentioned, they can decide themselves....... Dw, I know what Tae is capable as a vocalist and everyone else....I sing myself....just used them hypothetical, so everyone can understand the point. :) About the quitting, you are right with that. I didn't mention the contract part. There stuck in it and can't just quit. I am simply saying, that they want to and enhance to that they won't renew their contract what again leads to a not long lasting group aka a group that didn't make it. Which again states the point of the video. BTS is a long lasting group for the fact that in that point out of the three, they have freedom and are nor forced. They complete each other perfectly and respect each other because of that there is no such problem as envying one for the lines they take or the group decides who sings what. Hope that is understandable. 🦦💜
