After my husband passed away, I knew I needed to get out of debt quickly. I did it mostly by selling things I no longer needed or wanted. I now live a simple life. I don't need all the things. And I live free!!!! Relationships and experiences are so important! God has blessed me and taken care of me because of the relationship I have with HIM. And I have been able to do experiences,too.. thank you for your wonder channel!!!

Really great pictures at the end of the video, of you two in all the different places. I know one thing some KZbinrs do is have a FAQ list of videos to try answer some viewer questions. I try to leave comments on your videos to let you know I appreciate the work you put in in making the videos. also I enjoy them of course, fun to see you guys out and about. I used to not understand about the comments and how overwhelming they can be, now I really never expect responses ... just letting you know I'm still watching. Your way of life is so wise. So many marriages could be saved and so much hurt could be avoided if only people lived lives within their means. At the end of one's life all the "stuff" means nothing. I know someone personally who is so afraid of loosing his "stuff" and his "position" in life through his high paying job he is loosing his relationships, his marriage and most importantly his relationship with God because he doesn't want to give up the "world". I pray he comes to his senses before it's too late. Thank you for what you share of your lives. God bless you both.

This is Elizabeth. For us, our relationship with Jesus is what gives hope, strength, and meaning to our lives. People have been denying, and certainly disobeying, God from the very beginning. This disobedience, sin, has consequences. Humanity would never have been able to solve the problem of sin. We'd never clean ourselves up enough, or be able to make up for our blatant disobedience towards an Almighty, Holy God. Because God loves us, God the Son,Jesus, came to take the punishment, to be the final sacrifice needed for us to be forgiven. He paid the price to set us free. He was crucified and then rose again the third day...forever conquering evil on this earth if people will turn to Him. We have to acknowledge that we need forgiveness and that we need His salvation. We give Jesus our sin and weakness, He gives us His pure righteousness and forgiveness. We let Him be Lord and give Him ourselves, He gives us love, and strength, and a wonderful, eternal future. We become part of His family. It boils down to letting Him be boss, He's a LOT smarter anyway! Repentance means I see that I'm going the wrong way, and I choose to turn around and go God's way. We admit we are doing things wrong and with His help, we want to obey and please him. If you have access to a Bible, read Romans 3:23 and Romans 6:23. Also, Matthew 11:28-30 and Romans 8:31-39. Try to find an NIV (New International Version) or a New King James, to New Living Translation. Bibles are available everywhere from bookstores to Wal-Mart. If you are interested, I do a weekly Bible Study called "Tea with Jesus." I've been going through a lot of the books of the Bible and talking about a lot of different things God wants for us. This is the playlist: kzbin.info/aero/PLD231j5QApVInCrcazEgqS9QmZKpfZtTC Please, let me know if you have questions. Jesus has made all the difference in the world in our lives. He loves you very much. Be greatly blessed, Elizabeth

We will be taking some great vacations over the next few years with our kids and grandkids that they may not be able to afford right now on their own but, with our help we can ALL have great experiences and memories! @DreamingDarlin5 жыл бұрын
A lot of KZbinrs with a large subscription base simply don't respond to comments. It's commendable that you do but realistically eventually it becomes impossible. I think in future when it becomes too much for you two to continue spending all that time trying to respond to us that you could simply make a standard statement explaining that it is literally impossible but that you're always grateful for comments and suggestions, etc. Living simple, living free isn't quite possible if you're encumbered with hours of responding/acknowledging us each individually. I think most of your subscribers will understand that. Not only that but I think you'd still be admired, subscribed too and cared about but you'd be a lot happier down the road. Peace and love and may God bless you both.
@LiveSimpleLiveFree5 жыл бұрын
I agree. Eventually, it will become impossible to respond to the comments. But here's the problem. We have numerous sources of income, but Thrive Life is by far our largest. And people ask questions about Thrive all the time in the comments. Questions about the product, or questions about the business opportunity. If I MISS answering one of those comments, it could cost me a sale! So I must at least READ every comment so that I can answer the questions about Thrive Life. If I don't, my Thrive business could start to suffer. I LOVE that we are self-employed. We can make our own hours, we can travel and work from the road for extended periods of time if we want to. And we can AFFORED to travel like that because we have no mortgage or other debt. But work, we must. And at least READ all the comments, we must!
