I grew up in the 80s - My mother and I loved Carol Burnett, was a fun and clever, hilarious lady. That show and here cast are just amazing. I think my sense of humor and the absurd comes from there; I couldn't imagine a word without it ! Thanks for years of fond memories !!

So many classic comedy queens and empresses that broke down so many doors back then, Carol Burnett and Lucille Ball are definitely at the top of that list etc. Love her face when she said Here’s Agnes, she proved them wrong. Way to go Carol! Such a natural hilariously funny woman. I watch Carol’s films and her show with my parents. Thank you whoever created DVD’s television and Carol’s Official KZbin Channel. 🖤😍😘🥰🤩🌟✨🏆💎⚜️🎙️👑😆🤣😂

CONAN.... I recently saw the follow up movie about the outcome of the "Family" ..... thinking about that Family -Sad- episode of Eunice going on the Gong show...well ultimately she had an opportunity to go California through her brother played by (Roddy McDowell)...she was too afraid and stayed behind to take care of an Aunt while mourning her mother's passing. . ..very sad ending. Kinda sticks with me too.

Carol's series ran for eleven seasons; it finished up CBS's killer Saturday-night lineup. Hers was the last successful traditional full scale comedy-variety show on network TV.

Which came first: the first Family sketch or All in the Family? edit: I replayed the video. If Vicki was 24 with the first sketch, it would be 1973 or, maybe 1974. All in the Family premiered in 1971.

Carol Burnett has been my favorite famous personality my WHOLE life. My 1st time flying into LAX, she was standing next to me in baggage claim, along side (what I believe) was her driver & personal assistant. I wanted so badly to speak my gratitude to her, but I didn’t, because this was during the time that her daughter, Carrie, was battling cancer. I didn’t want to interrupt any of her time. I worship her tenacity & strength. 🩷
