@DMSProduktions Oh no, another reason online "Facts About Canada" videos should do more research. Where I live in Canada, we do not say "Oot," which is a regional accent in the eastern portion of the country. We live in a Western prairie province. Do we have our own accent? I don't hear it if we do. Do we have our own dialect? Yes, that I will agree with. Take the word "Bunnyhug," for example. That is absolutely one we developed in Sask. "Vico" is another provincial term. I believe one would find that amongst any country that has provinces, states, or regions. Just want people to understand the misconceptions about my beautiful country! 🇨🇦

I have travelled extensively throughout Canada and America for many many years and love North American style Chinese food. Chicken fingers are the same as chicken tenders which are strips of chicken that are breaded and then fried. These offering are usually served in non Chinese restaurants. Depending on the establishment various sauces are offered from honey mustard to ranch to bbq. Chicken balls are cubes of chicken usually chicken breast which are battered and then fried. They are always served with sweet and sour sauce.

Dragon flour isn't sold in Australia, it occasionally pops up on eBay but expensive and could of been sitting around for months. I now use SR flour seasoning, with Mary Mack's instant batter mix to coat (sold here in all supermarkets). Also good for fish & chips. I use frozen Basa, thaw, lightly salt & sit for 2hrs in fridge to draw out moisture for stay crunchy batter.

Hi I’ve just cooked this for my Dinner. I made the sweet and sour sauce then added it to a crunchy vegetable stir fry, then tossed in the chicken balls with some extra crunchy chips (French fries) and served it up with a extra drizzle of the sauce over the top. I had also pimped the sauce a bit by adding some fresh chillies to it. Absolutely yummy. I have some half cooked balls and sauce left over, which I will store in the freezer for another day. Thanks 😊 but no one is allergic to MSG it’s nearly impossible, studies have shown out of 1000s of msg “allergic” people tested that it’s not the MSG more likely histamines causing there reactions or the reverse placebo effect called the nocebo. Because what most people don’t know because they’re not educated enough is that MSG is naturally occurring, if they were allergic they would make it to adulthood because guess what, it’s found in human breast milk as it’s important for brain growth, cognitive function and muscle development

As an American....we just call this "sweet and sour chicken". We know when ordering it....that its fluffy but crispy fried chicken pieces with sweet and sour sauce on the side so you can add it at the last minute so that the chicken stays crisp. Ive never heard this dish called chicken "fingers" or "balls".

I’ve had 1000s of comments from people in the US over the years telling they call them chicken fingers over there, remember the states are massive not everywhere will call them the same thing

@ZiangsFoodWorkshop as an American who has lived in several states as well as traveled to most of them...I'm 100% aware of how big my country is. I'm also aware of regional differences being that i actually live here and have actually visited these different regions and lived in south dakota, texas, Alabama, south and north carolina, florida, oregon, wyoming, and Rhode Island...however, in the vast majority of states this dish is "sweet and sour chicken". Even at Asian chain restaurants in the US, it's just called "sweet and sour chicken"...no matter what state the chain is in. There has not been one single Asian restaurant in any state I've ever been to that calls this dish with the sauce "fingers". Even my husband, who is a chef is certain that this is just simply "sweet and sour chicken"....it's only chicken fingers when it isnt in Asian cuisine alongside sweet and sour sauce. Chicken "fingers" are just chicken tenders...which have a very different breading than sweet and sour chicken.

I have been using your old way, from the previous video. No, in Canada they are not called chicken fingers lol. Lived here my whole 52 years lol. You two are awesome, love all your stuff. Peace to you I found that to much ketchup made it taste off a bit. I have been using regular flour and adding 2 tbsp of baking powder. For me its seems amazing. It has been a long time since I went to a restaurant as I eat as GOD told us through Moses. Kosher I guess, but I am Isra'el, not Judah. There is a difference, although no one will admit it lol. Peace

I'll be making these very soon. I usually order sweet and sour chicken from Chinese take-out but I'd rather make my own food. ❤❤ I will also be checking out more of your videos. Stay well !

Oh, I’ve seen that hand movement before, I call it the ancient arcade claw machine technique. 😅 awesome recipe, I’ll definitely give it a go.
