For her sake I hope they have family meals (and downstairs snacks hehe the children are so sweet about it now!), learn to help fold laundry (too much laundry for one person! ;P), making their own sweet little beds, helping mom fun the hoover & do dishes (she's got to cook after all!), and most of all I hope they're able to keep things up and be a happy family. Also, as far as the teen daughter goes, I hope she stays in university and gets some help with overcoming her grief. It's got to be far more shocking for her and her mother than the young ones. I was 18 and just started recovering from m.e (only for a short time) my dad died when I was 18 too it was really awful. I was strong for my family but cleaning wasn't easy. I was always in physical pain as well as mental and my mum wasn't well or dealing with the grief at all I brought my you for brother up. Dropped out of college and got a job because we were about to lose our home and had lost out main source of income. Add on my older brother being disabled and people constantly gossiping and causing issues about me (I come from a Asian background unfortunately it can be pretty toxic) I recently got diagnosed with OCD. I love cleaning but the issue isn't the cleaning it's when your illnesses or life takes over anf you feel overwhelmed. Then you can end up going overboard like I do. People are so self centred abd only seeing things through their own eyes. Smh I can only imagine how much pain they have inside and how they managr to smile. I found ut really hard.

I hope she has learned to stay on top of designating responsibility to the kids. I know she's been very sad since her sweetheart passed away. She has been left with huge responsibility herself, but I know she can do it now that she has a hand up on things. I with this family well. They are all wonderful, adorable people! :) Shine on!

That is a rude thing to say, everyone grieves differently you know. How would you like it if someone said "then that must mean you and your mam must not have cared very much about your dad, you just kept on going on with life like nothing happened?" Some very judgemental posts here. Have you ever heard the saying “walk a mile in my shoes”. The mother has lost her husband and the children have lost their father. There are a thousand different ways bereavement affects people. So, she has a dirty house. Does she batter her children? No. Does she love her children? Obvious when you see them altogether. Kicking someone when they are down is an unworthy way to react to someone who is struggling to get up.
