It’s only worth it if you want to immigrate outside of India they really help with getting in to university and college that recognizes IBDP most India universities do not accept IBDP.

I am an educator with 20 years experience. NOTHING is taught in best schools and colleges, so called. Including BITS Pilani, where I studied. Learning is always conceptual,, asking questions, researching. Those who know, know this. Those who do NOT talk like here in such videos. Again, most disappointing video on such profound, urgent topic. It is amazing...Pront too cannot speak the obvious truth, and provide real solutins. Maybe you will explore this topic. But I doubt it.

Back in the 80s the stress was on getting admission but costs minimal. Then started education as a business and giving parents an impression that their children were missing out if they were not paying for the education. Without full literacy in a nation with only $3k per capita it’s a crime to charge so much. Even Japanese schools charge less

Go for good schools not expensive one's, there is nothing special in expensive schools apart from the fees. Both android phones and iphones provide more or less the same features yet people buy iPhone because they feel it somehow is good but in reality there is nothing special about iphone. When it comes to higher education, yes we may need to think but schools, any good quality school should get the job done.

Standard of education has gone down and good education has become prohibitively expensive. One cannot dream of clearing any entrance exam for engineering or medical course without coaching. UPSC civil services case is worse. Aspirants spend valuable years of their youth in trying for the uncertain with no plan B.
