This is great, and giving real-world feedback from peers in this community. Although, it appears, he is doing his goal sans an organized program of recovery, he still takes the method of "One Day At A Time". For those that feel they need something more structured, and/or a way to aid themselves in accountability or just to be amongst others who may "get them" and have a common thread of dependence or addiction to Alcohol, or other substances, AA & NA and other 12 step based groups are literally everywhere. In most every state, every city town around the world. Finding success of not drinking on one's own is super awesome too. One must make the right choice for themselves! Good luck to all you alcohol-free runners, or Sober-runners. We all want to be able to enjoy running more and longer, and safer I'm sure, no booze or other substances is a great way to achieve that! Thanks Runner's World!
