I literally share all of your opinions. Matt is way too overhated, he suffered just as much as everybody else. Stefan and Bonnie are my favorites. And Katherine as a human was very entertaining, I normally don't like her; but seeing her as a human is interesting.

It wasn't just about Elena, they are vampires, they said in the show how sometimes they stayed years away from each other, 3-4 months it's nothing for them.

They stayed decades away from each other they never had a stable relationship after turning. First demon resented Stefan for talking him into turning, then Stefan became a ripper, then Damon became a killing asshole while Stefan was trying to get clean. Besides Stefan and Damon had an agreement once Elena chose, the one she didn’t choose would leave. So I don’t like that people are calling Damon a bad brother for not knowing.
