HOW DO CATS APOLOGIZE TO HUMANS?

Once I was feeding my cat by hand and he accidentally bit me, it wasn't hard and not enough to draw blood, but enough to make me say "ouch". He stopped eating immediately and and licked my finger refusing to eat until I assured him I was okay and that he could go back to eating. It's one of the best memories I have of him, he was an amazing cat ❤

This very much comes across as someone who's read a bunch of stuff online about cats but never lived with one. Cats don't apologize, because they don't feel regret or shame. It's just not in their nature. The behaviors described in this video are just things cats do when they are happy or comfortable, not things they do to "make up" for their wrongdoings. If a cat feels happy or comfortable after knocking over a vase or tearing a roll of paper towels to shreds, that's because cats _like doing those things_ and feel satisfied after doing them. And why wouldn't they? It's fun to break things!
