The only divine justice we deserve is eternal hell, its only by God's incomprehensible Mercy that we even exist today and have access to His free gift of salvation! Mind blown. "What is man that You are mindful of him"? Psalm 8.

Yeah, this is only about 4 years too late, Johnny-come-lately…. What’s the point of a leading[?] [Christian] academic institution that comes 4 years too late, and only when it’s safe to speak out and there is virtually no cost to pay…. Furthermore, you didn’t even really provide that fleshed out of an answer, other than to say “this is what justice isn’t” and then to say “God defines justice”. Ok, God defines justice, but what does that specifically entail? How do I “love my neighbor as myself” and what does that look like in society at large (what role does a civil government play, if any)? Do you have any specific examples?

Years? More like millennia. What was expressed here is just a reaffirmation of historical Christianity... That being we need a standard. We HAVE a standard. That standard is Christ and his righteousness.
