Learning on our own is important. We do not always have access to a Sifu. Bravo. When we can learn from a Sifu, we should learn. When we are alone, we should learn.

Well actually shoalin master Shi Heng yi has spoken about the fact that while younger minds are fresher to the learning experience they struggle with focus whereas older students have more to learn but their life experiences have bred in them a greater desire to succeed.

30 is still very young if you just have been taking care of your condition. I was in horribly condiditon when i was 19 becouse i was just drinking and smoking. Now i am 39 and i am better condition than i have been doing muay thay

The only way is to travel to the temple and learn, there's no world where you can just wake up and learn shaolin gung Fu at home. Practice, preparation and endless repetition until your bones ache and you're too tired to sweat, too wasted to breath. That is the way, the only way one acquires gung fu.

@@FredrickGustafson-lv4ty Anyone anywhere can learn, they just need dedication and material. Lots and lots of dedication. Learning at the temple may be the best way, but it is not the only way.
