Have a look for the most german tune you can find which unite all german(s) (regardless which tribe / state they are from) and do a first reaction to BOCHUM, the home town of Herbert Grönemeyers whose impressive song "Der Weg" or The Way you have been reviewed already. CHeck out a live version cause that gives you an impression or search for Bochum octoberfest cause that is the best song to represent germans and what they feel about their home(town). Remember Herbert Grönemeyer as the actress, his first major sucess in an international oscar nominated movie ? Leutnant Werner, the war correspondent who is telling the story of U505 aka DAS BOOT, the anti war movie. He is the surviving officer ... when their boat had been sunken in front of the big submarine pens that still exists due to the thickness of the concrete shelter. That movie made also the director Wolfgang Petersen famous too and opened the doors for later movies like Troy.

There’s signs that tell you what lane to stay in to end up where you want to go. I think you’d manage once you see it from street view.

One that I'm surprised didn't make the list somewhere in there was the East LA Interchange in Los Angeles where I-5, US-101, CA-60, I-10 all come together (and I would include the connection that runs less than a mile to where I-5 and I-10 first meet just north of it, since when driving it, it feels like it's all part of the same tangle of roads)

They aren't as confusing as they look as you can only be in one place at a time. The confusion would come if signs are not properly posted at distance so you can be in the correct lane at the right time.

I was born in Houston and lived there most of my life. So I grew up driving on freeways with spaghetti bowls. Lol. And yes, there is always construction because it is always growing! I cannot imagine being the engineers to design the roads, as well as the detours while construction is going on! Some construction jobs take years! I am thankful my family moved away from the city!! I never thought I'd feel this way, but I love being in the country now!! You should search for Interstate 10 in Houston. They kept adding more and more lanes across. It is crazy!!

Just shows you how crazy we humans are. Even in Tucson, Arizona we are just starting to build one here that will last five years for $500millions dollars. Amazing what I have learned from KZbin

The bad thing about spaghetti junction in Atlanta (besides the mind boggling traffic) is what he showed is out of date. More spaghetti has been added recently and in doing so, they changed all the exits, entrances and directions so you never know which way is up. Atlanta has many interchanges bc interstates 85, 75, 20 and 285 intersect Atlanta so… lots of spaghetti.

AND traffic is still horrible!! I despise that intersection with a passion.

I wonder if they have a video of mind-boggling interactions? Near me there is an intersection where the Main Street traffic swaps sides

To me, none of them looked very intimidating. I learned to drive in Toronto, Canada with the 400/401 Basket-weave, and the 409, 403, 410, 407, 427, QEW, and DVP all mish-mashing around the city with heavy traffic.

Texas is one of the champs of huge interchanges. This is a good video that explains how and why interchanges are built as they are. "Why are Texas interchanges so tall." kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y2KZg3mOp5lnnLssi=Hx5aEHNVwIPzwqxO

If you look at a schematic of all these interchanges, anyone would be confused, Lyle. Once you are on the freeway & you are reading the signs, they become much more simple. Some aren't marked well & you have to change lanes quickly which is a pain. But many have signs well in advance & the road/exit you want to take marked plainly on the road surface. It is hard to explain, but once you see one you will understand. I see the Chinese have sharp curves. Not good for high speed. You know you can virtually drive any of these on Google Maps street view. This video left out some of the most impressive in the US. I guess he was in a hurry to make the video. LOL!!
