It’s cool to hear Logan give so much respect to just making the main. It’s definitely something to be proud of

I love his attitude! I won some state and regional championships 20 years ago and whenever a pro (barely making the main) came around it absolutely blew my mind. The level that the “slow” pro guys ride at is insane. It’s really great to hear Logan’s perspective.

i think talking about privateers not being allowed in the main isn’t good when other factory riders get lapped every week

Can respect LK’s frankness. I remember years ago racing in the weekly REM races at Glen Helen and watching a local pro named Turbo Reif on a KX125 absolutely shredding. I asked my friend (who worked at MXA) about Bubba, who just started winning as a pro, and he said to picture that but a gear higher! Always stuck with me.

Years ago I worked at a track in Arizona, RV was racing mini's and absolutely shredding that track. It was mind boggling how fast and consistent he was.. His mom was pretty cool to..

its like being a good dancer, or guitarist. many people can do the steps or play the notes. not many can move from step to step with ease and flow. not many can time the gaps between the notes so nicely and blend them together. relaxed transitions, carrying flow. the top guys aren't even aware they do it. its mastery.

A privateer is essential a filler for the promoters... Think about it. It's much more prestigious to say you beat a field of 22 (SX) or 40 (MX) sounds a lot better then a field of 12... AND, watching the leader race through slow traffic is another exciting element. 🤘

The levels of this sport are insane. I was a back of the pack b class. Just the level from bottom (B) to top (B) is enormous. I cant imagine top level

Privateer class and factory class solved and the racing would be awesome in both no more heat races for factory class , LCQ for privateer class 250&450 ,250&450 main 1, 250 &450 privateer main event ,250&450 main 2 , point system like outdoors

The gap is in their technique and mastering the controls, it’s the basics done well and only a few are actually mastering the basics and not just trying to go fast! We recently interviewed Dean Wilson and when you hear what he did each and everyday outside of his track work and moto’s it would blow your mind! Technique is number 1, having the mindset to humble yourself and do the basic drills even as a pro is so important and what most are missing.

The biggest gap is having to work a job for a living or being paid to ride. Private dudes gotta pay the bills and can't spend everyday just working in a program of eating eight, working out and riding everyday all day. Once you get paid to ride you can focus on nothing but riding, but making that step is very hard and selective.

They need to separate the classes Privateer class and factory class if you’re in the bottom 5 of the factory class you lose your rider and if you’re top 5 in the privateer class you get a factory ride. Something to make it more competitive because it’s bullshit how privateers work jobs and have to pay for travel and all just to get spanked by pampered and drugged up factory riders and now with the new gen of rider being born and bred to race by rich daddies and private tracks and trainers since they get pushed out the womb it’s just insane.
