That was pretty spot on 🤣 fairly typical first time experience aside from the tourettes related feelings etc. I don't think I've ever seen a single person try edibles as their first foray into weed and not eat too much and end up baked to heck 😂

This should be a PSA, for edibles. LOVE IT. When you spoke about how you can pinpoint the neurons the ticks are coming from and feeling your eyeballs moving in the socket, that's the type of thing a profound THC experience does. That was also a clear weed hangover, which is just still being high from the trip but at the "burn out" or recovery stage.

@@yxngminge1157 In my experience it seems that although you don't feel the hangover anymore, it still likely dulls your brain to some degree compared to before you start getting high. I use edibles for sleep because it's the only thing I've ever found that works, but I can tell that my brain unfortunately isn't functioning quite up to par with how I was before I started, like it needs a tune-up for it to function optimally again. I'm a little conflicted because I like to actually be able to sleep once in a while, but I also want to be able to think more clearly again during the day. If there's a trick to it that anybody knows, could you guys please tell me?

She was high at 1:30 and didn't know it lol. Edibles can be "dangerous" for beginners because of the slow onset. When it creeps up on you and you're not used to being stoned, you can be high as shit and not even know it. Edibles can be very tricky, and your friends are definitely right, once ingested cannot be undone. I think the important thing someone should've clued you in on is, how fast the edibles become active can depend on a number of things having to do with your metabolism and how active you are at the time of eating them since we tend to burn through calories and foods eaten faster when we're more active. This can lead to them going from 1-2hrs before they kick in to 3-4hrs if you're relaxing. Wonderful video, I loved this. If you're interested in seeking some of the non-tick benefits without the drawbacks of the psycho active effects of THC, I would recommend CBD extract which comes in drops vapes etc. Helps me out a great deal with my anxiety and is legal in more places for use and purchase. ❤Anita.

Almost as if 'feeling the electricity between the brain and the place of tick' has coincided with the brain somehow finetuning its control systems thereby improving its ability to management the ticks. A kind of 'physiotherapy' for the brain. I think it is great that this girl has documented her experience so that others may learn from it. This is definitely a positive use of social media!

I laughed so many times watching you make all of the rookie mistakes... Tips: 1) know your dosage of THC with the edible - also finding out the amount of CBD is useful, as that part is not psychotropic and may have more of the medicinal qualities you might want to try to connect with. 2) know if the strain is sativa, indica, or hybrid - sativa will make you more brain active, indica will make your body more relaxed, and hybrid does both 3) when you eat an edible, if you drink a liquid with it, it will metabolize faster. Hot liquids, like coffee, tea, or hot chocolate will accelerate your experience faster. 4) do it with a friend!

Edibles and marijuana slower firing and making more connections and activating parts of the brain that usually have less function. It's just a matter of overstimulation. I've been smoking weed for 19 years. If I eat two edibles of that size on a full stomache with that interval, even I will get a THC high. A THC High is just peak absorption. At that point even if you take more it won't make a difference, the receptors in your brain are already fully saturated. Mellow is the thing to aim for. You know, just slow life down a little. Drift into your thoughts semi-aware and see what comes out. Honestly, given that she'd never had any THC before I'm surprised she didn't throw up or pass out. Both of those can happen if you try to force yourself to stay focused during a THC high. Shows she really just went with the flow. I dunno what that friend's weed was processed with, but it is not normal for a weed high to last several days. Even edibles generally last 9 hours at most. Might also be a placebo effect. When I was a young dumb kid, me and my friends gave another kid a joint made out of actual grass (as in, regular grass like you have in the garden or a park). He behaved according to his expectation of what being high would be like. For 4 hours. From normal grass. That's the power of the mind at work. There's even been research that roughly 50% of the efficacy of actual medicine still relies on the person's belief that it will help them. If they are suspicious of the medicine, it actually decreases the effectiveness.

The thing is that the stuff that is contained in prescription medicaments is more precise and consistend to dosage. Getting way too high for the first time, fun to watch from the outside. I relate to what you were saying about feeling the tic like a buzz of electricity from the brain running down a line to where the tic happens. Occasionally when I'm falling asleep I'll feel something like that in my head and it builds till I have a fool body twitch. Almost like a tiny seizure I always imagined. The sensation you're describing sounds like that.

I had the impression that your ticks were a bit less frequent and severe but it's difficult to tell because of the editing. When you devoured the second cookie it was really obvious how stoned you were😂😂 and really amusing when you got the well known munchies and laughing uncontrollably 🤣🤣. Speaking from my own experiences, I'm glad you had a pleasant and joyful experience, but it can also go the other way. So may be better if you leave it at that.❤❤🤗🤗

What is "normal" other than fitting the "average"? Everyone has some differences, it's not people with Tourette's that need to change, it's the "normal" people who need to be more accepting of the differences. Differences are what make everything more interesting, sameness is boring.

The same thing happened to me. I bought edibles to go to the Seahawks game a few years back. I ate two on the train. Then my friend didn’t want hers so I ate hers. Then nothing happened so I ate two more. It all hit me when the game was starting and I was hallucinating, lol. Everyone around me was laughing at me and the things I kept yelling out were hilarious. But the Seahawks won, so all in all a good day and learned a valuable lesson!

I had this same experience, except I was 15? and on a high school field trip to a cavs game. My buddy made brownies, and we ate all of them. Didn't hit us till we got to the arena and stood up to get off the bus, then we just looked at each other and started laughing hysterically, and didn't stop until the game started. Then we started throwing popcorn at each other and got kicked out lmfao. That first time on edibles was easily the greatest experience I've had on weed ever. It was so fun.

Time stamp was a perfect idea. Lets other people see what to expect. My first time eating brownies same thing happened. Three hours went by and nothing. Everyone I know who has eaten an edible said this happened as well.

I believe that it is still possible for you to get good experiences. It's like an acquired thing. You need the right setting and mental headspace to get the best out of it. If you're like me, music is my go-to when I'm high. It also serves as a great motivator to pursue your passions, whether it be music, drawing, food, or being social. You just have to keep trying until you find that sweet spot so you know how to react to the effects in a way that benefits you. Weed amplifies your thoughts so you can obsess over one train of thought and then the next. How great would that be when it's used as a tool to be creative?

As 7ngel said from my observations the setting and your headspace have a lot to do with it. My friend usually gets really paranoid when she would get high, but she lived in an environment that was stressful and not conducive to a good experience. She recently moved in with me to get away from the environment she was in and she got a little high for the first time since then yesterday and she said it was the first time she hasn't felt paranoid so I definitely subscribe to the idea that environment is a major factor. If you go into it, both with cannabis and psychedelics, with an escapist mindset in an environment that you don't like, it will have a tendency to steer things in the wrong direction. If you go into it with an open mind in an environment you feel safe in with the right people it can have a profound impact on your mental state both during and after the experience.

I'm from Poland, but I work in Germany for a company, which often employs people just temporarily (like for weeks or months), because there are periods, when they need a lot more "workforce". So, once I worked and lived for around two months with another polish guy, who had Tourettes. He was smoking weed, claiming it was prescribed by his doctor (I think he actually had some papers confirming that), and that it's really helping him. He was also drinking "industrial" amounts of beer every evening (like 12 - 16 cans, each one half a liter), though I've never seen him really drunk, and he was also quite skinny. Anyways, he was just an average, normal guy and his Tourettes was quite mild - basically he would just swear uncontrollably every now and then, though not that often. That was also before CBD became a thing. Now, I don't know if smoking pot was really helping him, but I've read several articles on CBD and supposedly it has a number of beneficial effects for people with various disorders (like epileptic attacks) and other problems too (like strong rheumatic pains). It also does not have negative effects, like regular pot (containing THC) has, because it doesn't have any narcotic or depressing effects, though overdosing may make you sleepy. As far as I know, scientist study CBD as a potential cure for cancer, since it can induce apoptosis (programmed cellular "suicide") in cancer cells, but not in healthy ones. I've never tried smoking regular weed, because I've never wanted to, but I'm considering trying CBD, since I also have quite a lot of health problems (busted hip, which I was born with, strong back pains, trouble sleeping et c). Overall, CBD seems like an interesting alternative to "chemical" medicine, with little to no side effects. And, you don't have to smoke it, you can also use CBD oil inhalator. Interestingly, CBD products (which are perfectly legal), are often more expensive, than a regular weed (which is mostly illegal).
