on the unrefined materials note...maybe it was in the past. I did the math on the TP, and whether I sell 2 ores or 1 ingot it literally comes up to the same price, considering fees and everything. crafting ores into ingots or whichever material you take, just gonna eat your time and give you no profit

I just checked it in game, 3silver 13copper for ore, 6.25 for ingot. 3.13 + 3.13=6.26, so yeah

@@sasasale1157 That's fair, Im not saying you're wrong but prices fluctuate fairly often along with NA/EU having different prices. The main thing to take away from that is just to check it ingame yourself like you have done, before choosing to either refine or not refine.

volatile magic is still one of the easiest ways to nearly double your gold and is the reason i have a character permanently alt parked near bjora march

3:14 that's not really true - if you haven't finished all your masteries for whatever content you are doing at that moment, you will not get spirit shards. The XP bar will not reset once filled if a mastery is still selected :(

Farm eternal ice. Use your eternal ice to convert your karma into volatile magic, then convert that into Gold. A couple of well placed alts, make it fairly easy to get a steady supply of eternal ice. If you add in some Icebrood strikes every now and then, you will likely end up running yourself out of karma fairly quickly.

Season 3 and Season 4 dailies are a good way to get decent amounts of daily karma, if you find yourself running out. Or, if you've got lots of time around Christmas, farming Wintersday is an amazing way to stockpile loads of karma for the year to come.

Idk man, instant sell cut is way lower than normal listing cut and its often not worth to hold things on market and risking that you will get undercutted

All that sparkly stuff, most of them bought it/got carried. They will spend hours in Roleplay on a map everyday, when do you even get a chance to World Boss? Yes there are some very good players out there don't get me wrong, but for the most part is CREDIT CARD, buy gems, sell gems, get Gold, buy Shinies.

Any class in the game can choose to pick up the Armorsmith crafting. Just look for an Armorsmithing station in a major city and speak to the npc there to learn it. I hope that helped answer your question.

@@RelzorGaming I'm stupid, I wanted to know specifically for profits. I'm a new player and I just flip on TP but now I can afford to invest into a crafting profession, so I wondered which one will give me the best bang for the buck. After looking up on various websites it seems like armorsmithing is a sure bet, but maybe you have a different opinion. What do you think? I can invest maybe 50-300 gold depending if I sell coins and clovers

@@etofok Sorry I completely misunderstood, its been a rather long day so just wasn't thinking properly. As for flipping using professions I would say Armorsmith and weaponsmith. Weaponsmith might not be 100% viable right now however Anet likes to add new craftable weapon skins with living world updates such as the "restored boreal" weapons that came out during the Icebrood saga. I personally crafted and flipped those allowing me to get over 1k gold. Since you can have 2 crafting professions for free I would suggest those 2. Now on a side note to help you with flipping there's a very useful website that I personally use. www.gw2tp.com/search?sort=spread&buymin=50&supplymin=500&demandmin=500 Gw2tp.com. This website will show you supply and demand along with expected profit. You can use it to take a look at items before you choose to invest into them.

@@RelzorGaming fliping is super easy in gw2 with all these tools although I use different ones. Very surprised these are OPEN tools lol. I just wanted to add something to my daily fast gold without much farming or running around. Thanks brother I'll go for armorsmith 500. Go ahead and make a living just outlining a list of 'profit crafts' per profession, that'll be like 8 videos right there.

I was just trying to help new players understand how making gold works. I have multiple gold making videos on my channel however I have heard new players say they Farm meta events or do fractals etc and don't get any gold. So obviously some new players need help understanding why they're not getting raw gold drops. Sorry if you didn't find the video useful.

However I don't think those players will find your video with this title, and those that would look for a video with this title will learn nothing. I was honestly thinking you would go into how to convert currencies into gold, useful crafting tips and stuff like that, but it seems you've compiled a list of fundamental concepts rather than an explanation of how to execute on those concepts to convert into gold. My first comment was a bit crass, but I honestly think it is a valid criticism. New player concepts are great videos to help people get into the game, but I feel mislead and I feel my time has been wasted. Your video quality is quite high, I can tell you put quite a lot of effort into editing, but that's a lot of effort to not really share any details Hope this isn't too long winded, and maybe it will help

@@RelzorGaming Wanna add to the discussion you also give some "wrong" advice in your vids, example : Crafting = More money. That's kinda false, some mats are either same money gain as if you didn't done any crafting, other might give some borderline trivial copper gain, and some are even worth MORE as raw materials cause people use them for leveling crafting or either branching craft recipe (iron ore for steel or iron ingot), some of the advice are good fundemental to those new players i agree, but you lack some critical information about money making, and how to not fall in the rich people games :p That told, i salute your video, but you might need to dig a bit deeper in gold making, as a guild leader who spend her whole day trying to help new player not falling in evident trap (keeping LWS4 currency for skyscale, not leveling jeweler etc) i kinda like those kind of video to avoid those traps for our poor lone new player who don't have opportunity to be in a guild like mine :) Much love ! @@RelzorGaming Just to give an example with iron : You need 3 ore for one ingot => 1 ingot sell for 3s 27c. 3 ore sell for almost 5s 13c. See how sometimes "crafting" isn't that real of a gain, some craft are, but not all of them, people need to actually pay attention at those details before crafting to sell, cause that's how people over 5k gold do lot of money actually :p Playing with those traps

yes and no, that is a beginner summary on how the ingame economy works to get gold, the real money making is in alt accounts.

Yes, I agree since that can make a large amount of gold just from logging into each account but this is directed at New Players, and the last thing I want to do is tell new players they should buy more accounts to get gold. Buying extra accounts is a choice that can be made later on, Even I only have 1 account and have been playing since the 3 day head start back in 2012. Plenty of free ways to make gold :)

Your Unid gear video is actually losing you gold overall. There are many and I mean MANY secrets you need to uncover, until Unid gear opening gets profitable for you. Till then, better sell them on TP, since you will need shit ton of preparation and investments to even make it worth the gold, let alone the time.
