It definitely should be, such an amazing country! It was one of our favourites in Europe. We recommend doing it and the other balkans while you are there. Glad it was helpful and thanks for watching Stephen & Andie!😀

Hi there! Thank you for the video. Do you mind sharing the name/locations of the dentist and dermatologist that you went to in Croatia? Thank you!
@BucketListTravellers Жыл бұрын
You're welcome Azizan. Sure, we went to both in Split. We went to 2 dentists, the first was ismile. They were very modern with great office, but we did find them trying to oversell services and we had some concerns when we went there. So we ended up going to another Dentist, DenTech - Dental centar , and we found them very professional they seemed very honest and more affordable. The dermatologist we went to was Poloklinica Nova and we thought they were good.

@@BucketListTravellers Thanks so much for the recs!! We'll be in Split in April and will try to make appointments before we get there. And I see that you're in Malaysia now (where I'm from, but I live in France now) Have a fantastic time!!!

@@azizanaziz3376 You're welcome! We love Malaysia, it is one of our favourite countries. France is is great too, the food there is nearly as good as Malaysia!😛

@@BucketListTravellers I just got back from my dermatology appointment. The clinic is only half an hour walk from our rental apartment in the Old Town. The doctor was fantastic and treated what needs to be treated. Thanks again for the rec!!

i was in Zadar, Croatia in August 18-23, 2022 and I spent €530 which includes transportation round trip to Venice, food, hostel and 3 tours.

That sounds pretty reasonable for a 5 day trip, did you think so? For us, the 'slow travel' aspect helps to smooth out costs and get weekly discounts on accommodation. Our costs would definitely be higher on average if we were in the country for a shorter period of time. Thanks for watching Efren.

Unfortunately this video is outdated and not relevant anymore, just got back from Croatia (shoulder season in May 2024) and all those prices have gone way up. Catamaran from split to hvar or korcula are now 25€ not 5€. A studio appartement range about 50-100€ (or more) a night ,flix bus from dubrovnik to split or split to zadar 25€.

Hi Wes, thanks very much for your update. We had heard that prices lifted once Croatia converted over to the Euro. It sounds like prices have lifted up a lot! Funnily enough our Montenegro videos are getting a lot of interest, perhaps Croatia is getting too expensive and people are looking for cheaper alternatives for similar experiences.

Thanks for all this. My wife and I wanna visit Croatia next item. I understand it’s about half as expensive as going to Italy. Do you agree?
@BucketListTravellers Жыл бұрын
Hi there Hollysbuddy, whilst not 50% cheaper, it was definitely cheaper than Italy and we were able to get really nice 1-2B studios for around 70% of the price in Northern Italy. The food was also around 20% cheaper than Italy. However we did visit in the off season (April). We found Dubrovnik to be much more expensive than other cities though and we would say food and accommodation prices are equivalent or more expensive than Italy there.

In 2023 everything just vent up like a small tictac is almost 2€ and bottle of water is also about 2€

We were wondering how the conversion to the Euro was going to impact prices. It sounds much less affordable than what we experienced in 2022.

During summer season croats are very greedy they would charge you the air you breathe
