Germany wont hand over Taurus because they know the first thing Ukraine would do with them is take out the Kerch Bridge and isolate Crimea. Hopefully that has now been given.

A major issue for Ukraine is bomber aircraft launching wing equipped FAB onto their frontline. By striking the bases from which these aircraft operate the bombers will have to fly further and at higher altitude to hit the the frontline. This will give more time to detect and intercept such raids.

We know the answer to this. Ukraine could strike 50 miles into Russia. Any further and they need US or UK help which makes US or UK a legitimate target of Russia. Ain't going to happen. Besides Ukraine has been lost for over 2 years. But the demilitarisation of both Ukraine AND Nato takes time. Nearly over.
@Orbital_Inclination5 күн бұрын
No, it does not make the UK or US valid targets, in the same way that Iran supplying Russia also doesn't drag them into being an active part of the conflict.
@landieman60445 күн бұрын
@Orbital_Inclination so are ukraine operators going to launch and guide these missiles, are ukraine satellites going to be used in there guidance? Surely if not, this makes the whole thing nato offensive.
@Orbital_Inclination5 күн бұрын
@@landieman6044storm shadows are launched from within Ukraine, either by air or modified land vehicles. They are not guided by an operator during flight, but pre-programmed. As for satellite data, there's nothing about sharing intelligence that makes a nation an active participant in a conflict, and tbf there are plenty of civilian satellite companies that Ukraine can use for that purpose. Does Iran supplying kamikaze drones also make them an active participant, or do you only apply that logic to Western nations?
@terryharris12915 күн бұрын
Ukraine has been striking deep into russia with its own drones for along time now ,but they need ones with bigger payloads and better targeting.After nearly a 1000 days it seems russia has demilitarized its self,down to attacking on golf carts and little motor bikes.
@antique-bs8bb5 күн бұрын
@@terryharris1291 oh dear you really don't get it do you. almost a million Ukrainians dead. The motorbikes are very effective (old WW2 tactic). 4 or 5 men draw fire (they are probably ex-prisoners) and scarper. Very observant Drones and other tech identifies the targets. Those massive bombs 500lb - 1000lb with fins added get dropped from 50 miles away and hit the targets accurately. Hundreds of Ukrainians get killed for each man on a motorbike.
