Wife just gave me the company car list and this is on it. I think this will work for her 10 mile commute just fine and there's already a charging point in the house we just moved to. I've driven a 2019 model a while back and liked it quite a bit but had decided there's not enough range as your only car. I'll have a diesel for long trips so I think it's worth getting this for doing day trips and that easy commute.

Excellent informative review Joe. I am due to replace my managers car next March and he / we as a company are exploring the EV route. His main priority is range and could live with around 225 to 250 as an absolute minimum. 200 for the e-tron sounds good for the weight but would be concerned how much that plummets as you said in the winter, lights, wipers, heater etc.

@@dmomcilovic9185 yeah man, Im 28 yo, I totally want to go back 100 years. If they want diversity in the car industry, sure. But dont kill off ICE cars, like joe said, EVs are fun for the first few times you press the "gass" pedal and then they offer nothing. If youre talking about the environment, please. The rich 1% are responsible for 50%++ of the greenhouse gasses. Buy meat and veggies from local farmers, and youre doing more for the planet than driving an EV. If I would have a house where to charge with Solar Panels as well for example, I would be so happy as I drive 17 miles to work and 17 miles back home and it would cost me almost nothing. This is where electric cars are unbeatable. Not to go to greece. Buy a diesel than. But I don't have place to charge so it's not for me yet...

They ok for commuting, urban, school runs etc.. then at weekend you could drive the sports car. But as a complete replacement it’s a No for me You can easily jump into a diesel car and go for a drive and not have a care in the world whereas a EV you need to plan your trip Bring a jacket so you don’t use the heating , an iPod so you can’t use radio otherwise you drain the battery plus finding charging stations that work with about 3 in a 50 car park average in the uk.

Love these videos, brilliant editing and really smart time lapse footage.....very entertaining for what could be very boring. When these cars do 500 miles on a charge I’ll start to get them but as it is, when I do a 600 mile round trip in a day for work on one tank in my G31, this would add far too much time and inconvenience currently.

Top review Joe, like you i'm not ready for EV's even though they are creeping into the back of my mind, sounds like it won't be long before the torque will snap your neck, at least the drive can still be fun! My major concern is the battery lifespan, say i was to buy a 4 year old e-tron in the future, would i have to replace aa battery, as range has got to shorten over time i would imagine?
